Some tips after watching many hours of reviews from many content producers. More regular content will get more subs, try to script some or most of the video. Do your sponsor/affiliate shout outs early and short. Don’t ramble quite so much. Be more confident in your delivery, a little less monotone. Cut to some B-roll showing you using the products in the real world. Be sure of your decisions, don’t second guess yourself. Keep up the great work.

Congrats to team canon. Loving the EOS R. I agree with all of your reasons to use the EOS R. I use the A7sii for weddings sometimes and get frustrated with a lot of the features of the camera. I agree with some of the other comments about being more consistent. Posting once a month probably isn’t enough to build a big following.

I appreciate the feedback. I will def try to do a very detailed review of the camera, I wanna use it a bit more and get a good feel before I jump into the full review. I will try to touch on that topic for you as it’s something that I still need to work with more as well as I do use burst modes. Thanks for watching!

Thanks very helpful - I currently shoot with a D750, the R is the camera I'm most interested in changing for. The only issue I have is I've read the dynamic range is .7 of a stop less. I'm trying to weigh up if I'll regret that as there are occasions when I have to max out on DM.

I’ve used the D750, great camera. I went from Sony which has crazy DR and so far it’s not been that much of a difference. Usually DR numbers are based on optimum settings and I’m not sure I’m ever shooting at optimum settings which kind of evens itself out. You lose DR anytime you’re not at the base ISO. .7 doesn’t seem like a lot to me personally. What type of stuff do you shoot? Thanks again for watching!

Mark Shirley Nice! Yeah I can see you shoot various things that may require more DR but I haven’t had a problem personally. For low light stuff I def use my A7Sii.

In my test the EOS R never outperformed the A7iii when it comes to auto focus...

I think they are pretty close, my comments in regards to focus were video related. I think in photos with the Eye AF I’d rather have the Sony. The EOS R for me in video when it comes to faces being in the scene, just worked better for me in most situations because of the eye af where the Sony was inconsistent with face detect. I’m glad that your Sony is working great for you, def awesome cameras, can’t wait for the A74. Thanks for watching!

@@WhiteMic Canon made a big improvement with the latest update for sure. Just great to see the manufacturers doing good stuff with firmware updates finally. Hasn't always been like that.

First of all, nice video! I was decided to get the A7III, but after seeing this, I'm hesitant. How is the AF working using the adaptor and the Tokina lens? I have a Tamron 28-75 f2.8 for Canon and I really want to use it!

Honestly the adapter as most people have pointed out, works just as any native RF lens does, the AF is on point. The Tokina lens worked great as well, however, I did get rid of it because it’s an older lens and had a lot of fringing at 11mm. Tamron def makes some good glass and I know those lenses do work, though if you ever get any new G2 lenses they sell a dock for updates. Thanks for watching and good luck with your decision!

@@WhiteMic Guess what? I just got the EOS R and the Tamron is working just amazing! The sharpness at 50 mm f2.8 it's incredible! That was one of my main concerns.

Most of the photographers I follow on here post videos no longer than 12-16 minutes so, shorter videos & less babbling might get you more subscribers - maybe pick each subject you want to talk about & record them individually then you can drop them on your channel over a number of days.

Video was going well but when I saw how long it is I stopped watching after 6 mins. Too long. Your setup and look is on point. Your delivery has energy, but too much rambling. Try be more succinct and to the point. I enjoyed the first 6 mins anyway. Keep it up anyways

I appreciate the feedback, but yeah, this is more of a long form video which has too many points to touch on, I tried to keep it as short as possible lol but I did include timestamps in the description (though I failed to mention that). For videos with a single topic, I try to keep those around 10 minutes. Thanks for watching and def appreciate the feedback!
