@@watashi2329 It's more of symbolism. Basically, the storm rocking the ship represents the tension and struggle of the singer trying to keep up an act to keep his partner happy, but his strength to do so was slowly chipping away until it was revealed. The animation shows his constant struggle to maintain the lie even after it is known while accepting that she can leave now that she knows the truth of who he is, but the end scene from my understanding represents his partner accepting his flaws and her willingness to keep working on their relationship regardless. Despite him pushing her away for her to be happy, her getting in a new boat after the ship sinks and jumping back in the water near the end shows his partner's determination to keep going back to him, the sea monster representing his inner demons that he was trying to keep hidden away. That's just my interpretation at least

I had the opportunity to see this band in Bratislava this year, actually, a couple of weeks ago. And they didn´t only touch my heart, but they did touch my whole soul. I can´t imagine what they are going through, but from the speech Dan had, I see that it´s not always that smooth as one can think. I fell in love with Dan as he mentioned the therapy, because I myself had and sometimes still have troubles just living my life. My biggest wish is for the whole band to be happy and smilling and loved. I love you all guys, literally. You make my days more manageable.

yesss, you're right. I feel like it is because they really consious about press and social media. Their songs have been consistantly good in the course of time and don't really involve politics or so. Plus, a lot of people can relate to their song too

Song shows the power of truth in the sense that, truth is the key that opens the door to the caged soul, I love the music,it grabs the heart and, the lyrics speak volumes about being open and authentic. Maybe I'm wrong,but this is my subjective opinion.

This song is about a girl that keeps trying to make a relationship work over and over, and no matter what she does...it doesn’t matter. While the bf is “present” he never contributes; the relationship is toxic, they continue the same dance over and over until she becomes exhausted and decides to leave. For those of you that don’t understand the song I am very grateful that you have never had to experience it.
