Thank you Miles for your tutorial of Imagine. All my working life I said when I retire I am going to learn to play piano. My very thoughtful husband gave me a piano last Christmas, and thanks to you I can now play imagine. You certainly have a wonderful gift of teaching. All I knew were the scales, and I certainly can't read music, Thanks again for your gift of teaching someone like me to play

I just turned 62 and I always wanted to attempt to play the piano, so I purchase a Yamaha Keyboard and I have been pecking away on different songs, not learning notes yet. This is one song that I work on every night, thanks for sharing your knowledge..

Buddy I am newer to piano. I have a beautiful new Clavinova 805PE digital piano and you are the 1st video regarding this song that I could actually learn this. I appreciate it greatly as I am still learning various chords and so on. Thanks so much. BTW, this Clavinova was a gift and it has so incredibly much stuff that I am yet to uncover. It’s amazing the sound it produces.

Great tutorial! I haven't played my piano in a very long time and I was able to follow along and get through the first verse and chorus (still working out the bridge section) and hopefully I can bring this additional "skill set" to the band I play percussion in and enhance our performance repertoire. Keep up the good work!

I learned the full piano part from this. Thanks a lot Miles. You clearly have musical talent and teaching talent as well. Keep at it. The least clear part for me was the global organization of the "bridge". Maybe if you had talked about measure 1, measure 2, .. measure 7, it would have made this a little easier.

This is the best tutorial I have found on KZfaq. Thank you. It's a very easy to understand lesson. I've tinkered with the piano/keyboard forever. I am an amateur musician, bass player. I've always wanted to learn the piano and this lesson has brought me closer. Do you have any advice as to how to REALLY get to know the piano. The best way to learn?
