octopi do have beaks! it's the only solid part of their vody and anything they can fit the beak through they can get in to given a bit of time. there was an octopus in Napier NZ who after closing time would squeeze out of his tank and into other fishes to eat them.

The beak on an octopus is wild and bizarre and freaky. I mean, it's like a bird beak but hidden in flesh and tentacles. Truly horrifying!

This is very validating to my viewing experience.

Melissa was obviously going through personal grief and projected it onto situations in the workroom that didn't call for it. In her pain, I felt there was a little perhaps unintentional gaslighting going on, especially when she said something like, "See, when you're called out on something, you say, 'That's not what I meant."" But ... she was always the one calling them out for something that didn't match reality! Then she blamed them for trying to set her misperception straight. It's been frustrating to watch. There has been SO much drama this season that, frankly, not only hasn't been interesting AT ALL but also has dominated the episodes and sucked the air out of the show. I'm curious how much of that has been organic and how much has been production-prompted. I watch Dragula for the talent, creativity, visual styling, and shocking performance. Not all this nonsense. Others' mileage may vary.

Melissa has been a killer in the realm of Dragula & she has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of by leaving. I personally don't think it was "her time to go," but I do agree she might've wanted to take control of the situation in a time when she didn't have a lot of it in her own life. I hope she keeps BEin' FIERCE!! Her looks will be remembered for sure. 💜
