The way these queens are ganging up on Sigourney is disgusting. I think people giving others a pass for making "good TV" is a cop out to not hold them accountable. Behavior like theirs is why I've heard a lot of cis women Express fear about being queens. The ganging up on SB for anything she does is giving problematic. ESPECIALLY the aggression from La Zavaleta and MC. The *impact* goes BEYOND "characters on a tv show" for some ppl because every little unprovoked, shady microaggression that was thrown at the minority in the room is a clear indicator of ostracism. For me reguardless of intent, several of Merries comments have been misogynistic (ex the boob comment from episode 1 I believe) and also hypocritical just to bring Sigourney down (ex the "hope for the best" comment where she got exposed got doing the same thing) I feel like she saw Sigourney as an easy target beaches she's an AFAB queen, and just would not let that go to the point where Sigourney is litterally making her an outfit because she was so Ill prepared for the competition and STILL complained. So where I can see why you feel like "oh it wasn't intentional" or "Oh she's giving us good TV" it's still not acceptable. But I 100 percent on people being racist to Marrie or sending vile things like death threats, while what she did was not ok, nobody deserve that.

The thing with Merrie is, all her talking head moment is entertaining. Like it fells like bs nonsense and shadiness, funny at times. But every time the topic is about Sigourney, its always uncomfortable to watch. With Zava, it really feels like they were just seeking camera time, sometimes still confusing to watch, but there are funny moments like "for free" moment. With Merrie, sometimes I need to pause and go breathe a fresh air to calm myself lol.

In a review video from Haus of Goregeous, they had Bitter Betty as a special guest and she revealed that above their heads during extermination, there was actually a Lazer jutting out and pointing the whoever the person in the seat chose to get shocked. It's barely visible due to the lighting in the room but you can see it hitting Sigourney's chest for example in one of her close-ups and is also why she cussed at Merrie at one point while Merrie laughed.

Also, fun fact: the voice actor you mentioned who voiced Ed in The Lion King, Jim Cummings, is also the voice of Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and a tonne of other cartoon and video game characters. Pretty cool huh!

I do not agree with the downplaying of Merrie's misogyny here. Merrie has flat-out made misogynistic comments towards Sig, like when she implied Sig only did well/won because she showed her titties (not a verbatim quote). That comment towards Sig was a very specifically-aimed comment on Sig's body meant to downplay or invalidate her doing well in that challenge based on her female body. Furthermore, her complete refusal to accept Sig as the leader of their group and her combativeness with Sig was very suspicious. You say it wasn't deliberate, but misogyny doesn't have to be deliberate to be misogyny just like racism doesn't have to be deliberate to be racist. It feels weird for you guys to go in on people being racist towards Merrie, which we can all agree with you on, but at the same time gloss over Merrie's misogyny because you "don't think she meant it that way". Anyways, love you guys, and I think this conversation is far too nuanced to have in the comments section lol.

Merri was just classless and sucked at the challenges and her looks. Period. And instead of putting in the work she just gave up and pointed fingers. And unfortunately she brought down Betty with her.

Even outside the conversation of misogyny, intention, etc., Merrie was giving drag delusion. She was consistently bad at the challenges. What room did she have to talk shit about any of the other competitors? I feel like when she looked around the room and saw that her looks were not competitive, she decided to try to be the narrator of the season or a shit stirrer to give production a reason to keep her.
