Alexis is correct. Also the Boulets are directing this season for the first time so they were in the woods with the other monsters just as much in the beginning and leading up to the extermination. They talked about it on their podcast, Creatures of the Night

i highly suggest listeing to the boulet brothers podcast, they give so much insight on behind the scenes stuff, especially because theyre the directors too now and are always with the cameras. For example they had to hike up all that mountain for the extermination as well and talked a bit about that experience!

I waa born in England and when I moved to the States, I thought mayo was nasty! Javis' look was about how this country is regressing back to the Puritan era. Nihouru's Fox spirit has nine tails. The fox spirit can also imitate humans, thus the head on the parasol and the human skin mask.

Eliza Dushku is from Watertown, MA, which is where my best friend is from, and Eliza was friends with my BFF's downstairs neighbors' kids and they used to swim in my BFF's parents' pool. When "True Lies" came out, my BFF turned to me and said, "That's not the girl who hangs out with (neighbor's kids), is it? It looks just like her.: So we're basically as famous as Eliza Dushku, meaning Darby has never heard of us.

This episode brings up "Does the Extinction Challenge" REALLY matter? Satanna wasn't scary in the least but JayKay was more in tune with the Challenge. Satanna has just not brought the "Horror" that's the staple of Dragula... YET! Fantasia was beautiful in the Floor show. Well crafted garment. NOT bottom but it was a bit too safe for "Terror" in the Woods.

Until Tiktok I never knew having butter on a sandwich was weird. I'm USican and the sandwiches of my childhood were honey+pb+butter or balogna+cheese+butter. My dead grandmother had an attachment to butter because it was a luxury in the depression, so maybe that's a part of it? Never was a mayo girl, butter was a good solution...

They had upgrades this year however I felt like the intro to the season video segment as well as the first fright fest of the contestants “arriving” were both kind of a step down. There was no skit I missed it. Last years was fabulous and I was quite disappointed we didn’t get another epic witchy intro.
