Para mi, I would've loved a double feature rather than a double length episode. There was quite non-competition talking (love triangle/arguments) which made the episode feel more like a reality show than a competition. Especially with the love triangle thing, which felt a little uncomfortable. I'm really looking forward to the rest of gagula though!

I have hoped since the episode aired that the animal parts were fake. I would simply not be willing to go through such a thing as a vegan simply because of the same reason no one would do it if they were body parts. This isn't vegans being picky, this is us genuinely being horrified at the lack of conscience it takes to murder animals for entretainment, it is absolutely NOT fun at all. I still think that the buckets weren't filled real blood and body parts though.

I’m almost certain that the pig heads and brains and stuff were fake. I can’t imagine making people dunk their heads into raw meat would pass any kind of OSHA or whatever. I too was sorta not happy about the animals until I realised that there was no way it was real

I'm vegan and my thoughts are that people are vegan for ethical reasons and try to minimize supporting animal cruelty. If the queen does participate, they're participating in and supporting a show that contributed to animal cruelty as well as going against their ethics. Also, their digestive biomes are unadapted to animal products, so ethics aside, they will be more ill for consuming animal products. And finally, yeah they could just not go on the show, but that sucks that an entire group of people can't participate, and even if they do, will be at a disadvantage.
