It’s all about that confidence!! I have no confidence. I can’t even wear slightly dark nude lipstick without feeling so conspicuous and foolish. I’m working my way up to a red but ultimately I’m going to wear black at least one day in my life!!! (With no apologies!) I did just cut all my hair off into a pixie! That was step one in my personal revolution 😂 You are goals!

😂😂 when I was a teenager I totally did the black lipstick and white eyeliner. I still remember my girlfriend telling me how sexy I looked (she was the one who did my makeup and wanted me to look like that) so in my memory, I looked awesome 😂😂 In reality... forget reality. I looked amazing! Lost all my confidence but totally getting myself to a place where I can wear lipstick that doesn’t look like a natural no-makeup look!!!

Thinking about wearing this look to my pakistani cousin's wedding and giving all the aunties a heart attack🤣 Edit: WOAH! thank you to all my desi ppl for the love💜 I might do it and talked to my cousin she said please do it lol. Will update when/if i do💜 but wont create drama dont worry💜💜🤣 Edit 2: I talked to my cousin and did it on one day (wedding was 5 days long, south asian stuff) lots of fans and lots of haters but overall it was lit and we had fun. That's not the place or time IMO. I would be super mad if someone came to my wedding causing drama on purpose. You only get one wedding ya know? I'm all for wearing what you want and and sticking it to the aunties, but your cousin's wedding is supposed to be about her, she wants the attention to be on her not a cousin showing up in something that they know is shocking just to cause drama. Never try to outshine a bride on her wedding day, it's really rude. Just wait for another family gathering that isn't as important.

Do you put the lipstick on the “wet” part / inside of your lips? When I apply dark lipstick, as soon as I open my mouth, you can see the bright pink and it looks ... b*tthole-y.

as someone who’s gone through tubes and tubes of black liquid lipstick, I always tell people that black is the most flattering lip colour on everyone. I feel like it literally looks good on everybody and you don’t ever have to worry about it matching your skin tone or whatever. LOVED seeing you in black lip.

You could always do black with just a pop of something like bubblegum pink or coral-red in the center, like an ombré lip, that would make them look pouty while also having that sexy, witchy look

I grew up in such a family. Could not even wear nail polish. One day at age 17 I rebelled!! I put nail polish on and let my girlfriend do my make up and it was black lipstick. My parents insisted I was on drugs and dragged me to get tested (I wasn’t using anything. I was a straight A honor roll student 😂) When you get outta there and on your own you will be able to bloom and explore your own personal relationship to make up and beauty and self-decoration. If they love you they will get over it and if they don’t you’re better off even though it would hurt initially ❤️

I really really love this kind of videos. Today I experimented with a lime coloured eyeshadow following a tutorial for yellow eyeshadow you posted a few years back and I really loved the result. I really want to wear it again!
