This presentation will provide an overview of the Osia system and how it works combining piezoelectric technology with bone conduction. The candidacy indications for Osia will be outlined along with some initial outcomes from various studies around the world.

Few weeks ago I had my Osia implant on my right side. Since birth, while I could hear notmally with my left ear, I always missed the hearing from my right side. Excluding the stiches and ongoing healing of that, thus far, in these few weeks, I’ve been EXTREMELY impressed! Honestly, I feel much better hooking my Osia for watching films via my blue tooth directly sent to my Osia! I also hear much better through Osia if I block my normal left ear with pillow, so I can experience Bose-like speaker experience! Whistle? 🤔🤔 When I put my big hat for outdoor it hits the receiver and makes anoying noise. One interesting phenomenon that I noticed few times was when in some films a window breaks I’ve noticed my receiver makes a weird squicky noise!!
