The European hill climb sensation Impossible Climb Andler was held for the 21st time and the two-day dirt bike feast was a total Dirt Bike Destruction Derby for all.
The racing weekend started with the free practice on Saturday, 15:30, where all classes were free to give it a go to the wall-like giant of Andler - Scönberg. At 20:30 the real show started with the first heat where all riders hit the hill for one time. Saturday ended with an absolute wonderful concert & party and we can’t thank enough to the organizers on behalf of all participants and spectators.
Sunday started at 10:00 am with the remaining 3 heats for each class. After completing all 4 heats 10 best performance had their last chance for a final go at 15:30. The only matter is to reach highest point no matter how much time you spent.
We have witnessed a miracle in which Roel Geurts (IG: roelgeurts87) made an epic run to the hill and finished all the way up without a single mistake. This was a historic moment for the race’s itself also. He became the first rider to finish on top of his bike.

Number 53 is very skilled - he makes it to the top SIX TIMES! 1:05, 3:58, 8:29, 10:40, 13:24, and 15:06 - that's incredible, hats off to him. At 1:12, he's also very lucky his fingers didn't get caught between the chain and the sprocket - if you play it in slow motion, you can see how close it was. That would have been ugly. Huge props to all these riders and staff

Before y'all's time there was Maco, Bultaco and another one that I can't remember. 🤔 I do remember that everyone wanted a certain Suzuki TM250 that was and is as rare as hens teeth. Anyways, When Maco and Bultaco was at their peak, no Japanese bikes could hold a candle to them. In fact, the Maco is what set the blueprint for modern dirt bikes.

wow something about this hill really makes for some carnage! If I ever get over the ocean to Europe I'm 100% going to one of these lol. I know we have them here in America too but this looks like a great time.

Save your money. The minute they figure out your an American the price of everything doubles, they figure if you have money enough to make your way over there then you deserve to get burned. I could not believe it, every person from The restaurant waiters to the taxi cab drivers to people selling you a bottle of water feel no problem with doubling their price right there on the spot. That was my experience when I went to Spain I could not believe it. Unless you enjoy getting screwed,stay home.

this is not an easy watch. i feel sorry for both bikes and riders. those poor bikes... then again, they do it voluntarily, and it is incredibly impressive riding, and brave.

Useing a smaller front wheel than stock, will change the CG forward allowing more traction at the top of you hill 👏

A hill like this you have to fully commit and launch like a rocket. Too many people chopping the throttle half way up the hill. Momentum is your friend here.

Is the score based on the highest point the bike or the rider reached? In many cases both did not stop at the highest point, but bounced and slid much further back.

This is my favorite event to watch on KZfaq Forest motorcycles go. At 40 years old and many broken bones before I would still try this if I had the right tires on the bike and the power for it. Screw those bones lol

I used to ride when I was younger, but I'm too old now. I have been watching a lot of 4 wheel rock crawling and on this hill in particular being so rocky I bet if they aired down their tires a bit the bikes wouldn't throw them off the second they hit the rock.

if you don't make it up, your bike is wrecked, and there is no room for error, super narrow at the top and you might get wrecked, too, it's almost like the riders are surprised that they have to get out of the way. I wonder how many we're injured?
