Honestly this mentality guide was REALLY good. I'd personally love to see a part 2 on how WiFi can impact practise, whilst also talking about how to deal with character & player hate.

I think these videos are much needed instead of tech vids. I personally drifted away from smash for a while to focus on school and started watching "Study with me streamers." One streamer called "James Schoolz" credits a book called "Atomic Habits" and "The importance of Sleep." I highly recommend for those who wish to improve their overall health to check it out.

As a Kirby main, I actually have a terrible mentality when playing smash. I feel like I’m handicapping myself, but I love Kirby as a character so much, as a Kirby fan, I’d rather drop smash than drop my boy...

Currently working on the mentality aspect of Smash (and competitive gaming overall) myself. My biggest issue tends to be I panic when I'm put in disadvantage, and I can get TOO competitive/intense when I play. It's a hard balancing act

Which hour do you go to sleep?
@stockstew420
@stockstew420 3 жыл бұрын
What? You gotta go to sleep past midnight EVERY day? No, sleep is definitely an option and you should highly prioritize it as it an important factor in getting better AND your overall health. I'm not saying to never stay up late, rather that it shouldn't be a regular routine. I know it's alot harder because of school hours but maybe start playing earlier? Or any time that you waste you can throw in an hour of smash as well. Whatever you decide, there are solutions out there even with your limited schedule. We as human beings need sleep and denying your body of it will literally only cause negative effects one of which is being worse at the game. Just some advice from an older gamer who is trying to be the best he can be. Good luck comrade.

*Suggestion:* Include timestamps. It makes it more obvious that a lot of effort has been put into video production and makes longer videos feel neat and organized. It also makes videos easier to navigate, ESAM and hungrybox do it. I don't believe it would negatively impact the number of views, but at the very least experiment with it and see if timestamps negatively impact your view statistics.

@ProGuides Super Smash Bros Ultimate Tips 6:57 but doesn't it also help to create your own unique solutions? If everyone uses the same solution to a problem then people will adapt to said solution, but if you make a variation or entirely different solution to a problem, then it's less likely for the opponent to adapt to it

The expectation factor is precisely why the GSP system really sucks. We all want to play the game, even if we don't care about being in Eite. But losing points and seeing those numbers fall after a match can be pretty annoying.

Does "practicing 1 hour a day" include actual gameplay? Or just lab practice? Edit: like do you mean, play for a few hour and practice 1 hour? Or play and fix mistakes in just 1 hour ?
