As we all find ourselves looking closer to home for our photographic inspiration right now, there's no better time to venture out into our gardens and enjoy the wildlife.
In the past twelve months or so, I have spent lots of time setting up my garden for bird photography and a few of you have asked me about how I manage to get my sharp, well composed bird photos so In this final video of a three (well, now four) part series, I want to talk to you about post processing using Lightroom, Photoshop and Topaz Labs Denoise AI

Two beautiful main images there and a fascinating insight into your processing regime. Of the bonus pictures I liked the Blue Tit with spread wing - very unusual. Thanks for sharing your art with us.

Great video Gary, thanks for sharing, really like the fact that you don't over complicate the edit but the end result is a stunning image. i purchased Topaz De-noise several weeks ago, its fantastic, no need to fear high iso's again.

Although I just don't have the patience for wildlife photography this has been a captivating series and I hope you keep it going, maybe in the next lockdown. Just had my first jag but I think I'll just keep wearing a mask ... every time I go to the bank ;-)

Still not terribly too interested in bird photography but appreciate the skill in capturing them and your processing is teaching me something that can be applied to my photography.

Thoroughly enjoyed this video as I have done the whole series. Photographing the birds in our garden has been a life line for me during lockdown both this and last year. Not up to your standard on my entry level Olympus EPL6 , 150mm lense post processing on my iPad. Keep up the good work, pity there will be no Photography Pubcast this weekend, watched every episode.

Great episode again, we went to do a bit of waterfall photography on the 29th on the way to a garden visit and delayed Christmas present exchange at my mothers. The best photos we got however were of the Dippers on the water, we could almost touch them and weren't bothered about us at all. I thought you might like it there.

Nice shots Gary. You use a very similar processing workflow to me and Denoise is a fantastic bit of software. I also use their Sharpen AI and as I crop quite hard at times their Gigapixel AI if I need to do a large print. All excellent products. I have had some problems with greenfinches in the past as I've found messing with the colour to any great extent means you can end up with a yellow finch. It could be my monitor or something but I thought you were getting a touch of that on the birds body with that last colour tweak. A very nice informative vlog, if folks follow your workflow they won't go far wrong with their bird pics.
