Whether you struggle with balance, nailing multiple rotations, high retire, spotting... everyone continues to work on and improve their turning technique. This challenging and fun exercise is a fusion of Pilates, dance and yoga & will help you to improve your core strength, balance on supporting leg, stronger and higher retire and gain more control and stability in your upper body! Director of Dance etc, Kate Buchan is a qualified standing and floor mat pilates instructor and is also certified in Reformer Pilates and Progressing Ballet Technique. This exercise is an adaption of the "pilates Skater"! It can be done with or without the equiptment used in this video, however the aid of a yoga block, theraband and sliding disc will make this exercise more challenging!
