To this date I have never seen anyone better than Steve Waugh. Loved to see him since my childhood 😍😘😍. This world have seen great batsmen like Sachin, Lara, Ricky Pointing, Inzamam, Mahela Jaywerdene, Arvinda Desilva, Rahul Dravid, Jacques Kalis, Michael Atherton, but Steve Waugh was the best ever cricket batsman that I have ever seen to this date (Oct 7th 2022).

Hi Steve, I come from the jungle in Borneo and came to study here. I admire and try to emulate your wonderful qualities. You are a thinking human, thriving in adversities and challenges, made hard decisions and stuck to it. No regrets. After watching this show, I manage to buy a copy of your book and looking forward to reading it. My inspiration.

It was an excellent decision to impose the follow on by Waugh against India in 200. Had VVS & Dravid not batted so well - legendary tbh - they would have won the match. Also, they lost 7 wickets in the last session to some excellent bowling by Bhaji and Sachin - no shame in losing the match!

Please don't judge or tarnish the legacy of Hansie Cronje he did it but the Indian cricketers who were caught are now TV pundits and experts. Hansie Cronje is by far the best batsman after abd I think so please Hansie had a horrific end to his Life and when I see those clippings again of 2000 Scandal it hurts so please be fair and forgive Hansie and remember his contribution to South African cricket and give him the respect you south Africans and I'm from India please please forgive Hansie.

@ikhtiarsobhan
@ikhtiarsobhan 5 жыл бұрын
The question you are refering to was about the match fixing, starting from Hansie to Salman. It was not about Salman or Pak cricket. The Interview was about Aussie and SA cricket and about Steve's career and views. All the questions were about events that defines Steve's career and the players involved in the events. Only time he was asked about specific players are 3 Aussie players and 3 SA players. If you have not noticed, Steve is an Australian and Ali Bacher is a South African. And the intended audience is Australians and South Africans. Not sure why you think Ali Bacher have to ask about Wsim and Waqar specifically. Ali even did not ask about Aussie legends players Lille, Thomson, McDermot, Alan Border, Chapell Brothers, his siblling Mark, Taylor etc.
@craigedwards2940
@craigedwards2940 3 жыл бұрын
@@ikhtiarsobhan I don't blame him for asking, the Pakistani's have had some great fast bowlers. But, they're not really a rival for Australia, as India aren't. Maybe Pakistan. We maybe in their eye's, but the West Indies, especially then and now. Like England and New Zealand. It creates the most interest amongst the fan's.
@ikhtiarsobhan
@ikhtiarsobhan 3 жыл бұрын
Craig Edwards : Agreed. Wasim and Waqar was greats but their whole team was very inconsistent. You bowl out the opponent below 200 but then got bundled for 150 although they have some great batsmen as well.
