I feel bolstered just knowing these types of people are out there. I love that they can laugh and have merriment despite the insidious underpinnings of the conversation. I’ve taken some small steps towards “coming out” as a red-pilled, right-leaning, AR-15 toting, TERFish, future homeschooler, trad-con wife to my friends and family. It’s scary because I want to maintain relationships with them but not at the cost of my integrity and fundamental values.

Thank you for this. I do have friends and some family that understand or agree on the various issues and insanities that have taken over our world. What I lack is anyone to converse with on these issues in a deep or meaningful way. People that I once trusted as reasonable have gone woke and seemingly lost the ability to think critically. It's been a lonely few years. So I thank you for introducing me to these wonderful women and the possibility they offer

Something that has gone hand in hand with the degradation of the interpersonal is how "erotic" has become increasingly synonymous with "pornographic". There should be a big difference in the expectations these words evoke.

Great point. I'm a millennial and my generation really seems mislead when it comes to healthy sexuality. Sex positivity has given way to "all ways of sexually expressing yourself are equally valid and normal". Meanwhile, I see my peers having frequent shallow encounters and developing a jaded outlook on relationships while never considering that their conduct is leading to their dim attitude towards sex and dating.

You are wrong and so is Stein, whoever he is Different personality types exist and see different things as beautiful; there is no universal in this regard Some people see the individual overcoming all obstacles as beautiful Some people see the absorption of the individual into the mass as beautiful Some people see the preservation of tradition as beautiful Some people see the transgression against tradition as beautiful And all these people pursue their own standard of beauty in their own way--you yourself have seen the fallout of these pursuits in your society

The fractal comment caught me off-guard, because in many ways, language has the qualities of a fractal, even just technically speaking if you look at how words get strung together. I've wondered how that might affect the way language shapes or might reflect our thinking in a more general sense, over time. Piattelli-Palmarini at U Arizona is the guy who pointed this stuff out for me.

The people that need convincing or need to make them aware are the kind of people that are the incredulous. They look but they don't see and they're not really aware. They're kind of sensing that there's something wrong but they don't really care enough to be bothered with it. These kind of people are just lazy thinkers. They are lazy of mine and lazy a body. The trick is how can we motivate these kinds of incredulous individuals into action. Yes it's true you can't make people care but how can you make them aware enough to ask questions and maybe motivate them to care enough to disseminate the information between friends and family. There has to be some sort of ubiquity or universality in order to motivate the incredulous individuals into action if it's not ubiquitous enough then people will not care enough to do anything about it. People like Judy and Leslie have the energy and gumption to put their thought into action, unfortunately not everyone are like this.

I am a lone ranger who accidently has found the truth of the NT, I fly solo against all establishment in the religion of Abraham. People have vested and invested interests in a collective wisdom, so "what can I do?", is the question. I am going to rely on a better logic of argument that can break down the defensive wall of saving grace on the Cross, and realising they will actually be judged as they die. Though I am drafting a book on 'hereafter' teaching I was convinced in my conscience to make a Ytube video series called 'Myths in so-called Christianity', as a so-called Christian myself I am liken to an ex-Woke questioning the Virtue Signal. In Wokism the Virtue Signal is salvation, like the Cross in Christianity, both WOKE and Christianity use 'aunt sally' arguments, or 'gaslighting' to capture the minds of those who are the MEEK.

"There are bo warriors until you get out of that loop." But why would you be vulnerable to that mental loop? i've heard a sort of death by many cuts theory of child abuse. Somebody's examples included making a child sit on granny's lap when he didn't want to because of her bad breath. I.e., asserting your freedom of association, for reasons you needn't give, is part of basic autonomy. Overpowering that prerogative was asserted to be one setup for abuse. Overpowering it for the benefit of strangers I'll just flatly call wreckless & malicious grooming. And how else do u do that to children apart from shame, guilt trips, coercion? Demanding of you that you submit to another's choice of associations is degrading to you. Accepting it involves accepting that you're not worth boundaries of your own choice. Well, exactly that was done to whites, by category, in the '60s & '70s and in perpetuity thereafter. Could that explain a "perpetual mental loop" among adults like Jodi? I'm not even asking. QED. What I'd leave open is how many involved would have to be character disordered ...

I don't always agree with using our intuitions as the basis for our ideas - because our intuitions can sometimes lead us badly astray. However - in today's world - where the academy, media, institutions, government, ..., betray us so badly - we are better off trusting our intuition ahead of many of the so called 'experts'. I personally - still trust the evidence; and - if anything - I distrust my intuition.
@AndyJarman
@AndyJarman Жыл бұрын
Intuition is the birthplace of the hypothesis. Logical positivism is the faith that there is an objective 'out there' out there. Science adheres to that faith. Intuition is the unconscious act of assembling patterns to reveal what appeals to our nature. Our nature loves beauty, authenticity and integrity.
