The BMW M2 was my favorite modern BMW ever made. However the newest on is a little bit bigger, heavier, and well...might not look the best for everybody. So let's talk about it.

Driving the new M2 the best way I can describe it is the love child of an American muscle car and a 718 Cayman. I was blown away by how nice these cars are!

This car looks interesting and unique, and the past 20 years of previous BMWs (with the exception of the i8 and i3) were utterly boring to look at, fight me. Congratulations BMW, you finally made a non-hybrid that doesn't look like a Camry with a mustache! Good for you. Still would rather avoid BMWs because I don't trust their long-term reliability at all, but this is the most appealing thing they've made in decades IMO.

Most people talking about looks haven’t seen this in person . We all did the same thing to the g80. Now people accept it . Honestly I like the m2s current look . Obviously the prior m2 8/ beautiful, but this is far more capable . Just wish it didn’t gain so much weight

Saw this in the press release awhile back, and there was a certain angle that made it look like the last generation Scion TC and I cant unsee it. At least it seems like a blast to drive.

Unpopular opinion, I actually like the “new” M2 and don’t hate the design. The “new” G80 M2s biggest problem however, is that the last, the “old” M2 was so good and truly beautiful in my humble opinion.

I had a 2019 M2C with a 6 speed. Loved it. Such a beast. Was really looking forward to the new one until it was announced.. couldn't do it. Went with a 981 GTS instead and didn't look back.

The bolted on widescreen display on the dash is lazy design. The previous generation F series had a much nicer and more integrated dash. It's even worse in the X series because it's bigger. Hate the lack of physical buttons. I own a couple of BMW's and seriously thinking about ditching the brand because the design is so poor. Love the manual though.

Picked up one of these a couple weeks ago.bim loving it. It's like I'm shallow Hal. I like the look. It doesn't look like other cars. It doesn't need to be the same formula as the e46 or any other generation. If you want one of those or an e92?. Buy one of them while you still can. Had one of each. They're great cars, but I've moved on. What it lacks in feel it makes up for in raw power and modern comfort.

At least the kept the grill small Exterior kind of looks like a WRX. Using the screen to control everything is a trend that needs to die. I can get a ticket for using my phone but now they want us to touch a screen and go through multiple menus to do the most simple of things

I own this car and have 16,000 miles on it. iDrive 8 is best infotainment on the market. It is so well thought out, so easy to use, is fast and looks amazing. I get compliments on my car almost every day. People love it in real life. Since everyone in the internet is a sheep, it is the contrary.

These Dashboards with Superglued screens on them look like the Interior designers DGAF at all....Makes the whole overall dashboard look horrible...especially on a Bimmer.... The previous M2 Comp was DOPE!..

The f87 m2 is the best looking modern bmw. Since the e92 m3. If money wasn't an issue I'd put the g87 m2 drivetrain in the f82 that would be sick.

You don't need to stop to go into sport mode. Just program whatever you want to the M1 M2 buttons and you can switch to them at any time.

I really like the m2 especially the new one ofc I love the last one it is and has been a great car while I think that people shit on it it’s not deserved it is a cool ass car it is the car I want to buy because it’s kinda cheap in Mexico(it is built and designed here) abt $90,000usd or $1.6million pesos

Just bought an F87 M2 competition. Worth the penny though the new one was not too bad. It's good but it feels still heavier like you're driving a camaro or muscle car more than a lightweight car.

You can already see some admitting the looks growing on them. I have been in the car scene for 30 years and rarely do people like the new models, then lo and behold after a while after the new model comes out "the last model was so much better". This happens all the time especially with BMWs and Audi's.

Funny cause I drove a 2nd gen tc for 7 years and when i first saw these cars, I fell in love with the styling....makes sense. Also funny, i saw this car on my way to work before seeing this video...ya know....wealthy college students.

the automatic one sucks too. my 2023 m40i xdrive is bone stock with no tune, just 3 gallons of e85 and i destroy the automatic m2 in dig race and from a roll. my neighbor has the m2 and i got the m40i. the m240i is lighter, stops in shorter distance and acclerates like the m2 wishes it could with a tune.

The price seems pretty great to me which is why I was thinking of getting one. I wanted the m8 comp but this is like half the price so I might get the m2 for now then trade it in after I've beat the shit out of it for a couple years .

Honestly, getting the base M2 for around $65k is a bargain in my opinion. Probably the best car in the range for 450 HP. And it’s an M car.

many of these types of cars are meant to be driven auto. I remember when this channel was so critical of the A90 supra while praising the new Z but guess which one turned out to be a highly sought out car for enthusiasts. BMW is the king of 50-70k USD, not even close. This car is going to be the same.
