I think the charm of Hoya amicabilis are its adorably and fuzzy flowers. To me, they are very unique in the Hoya world and I love the bell shape! In this episode of Hoya of the Week, I will talk some care tips, and share like a million of photos I took of it because I am obsessed! I think she is a must for all hoya lovers!

One I purchased on your recommendations. Not to common in the states. Mine is still in moss rooting. I will move it when I get some more leaves. It only has 2 presently. Really liking this series. I want you to showcase all of your hoya, even ones that are not your favorite. We learn from those also. Stay safe Miro. You are a treasure.

I love mine! Have only had for a few months and there are 2 peduncles that bloom constantly! Not much vegetative growth, small and petite, which is really nice. I have it in my sunroom with bright indirect light and warm with 50-65% humidity. Kept in chunky mix, but easy and fun.

🙏🙏 I have an Amicabilis just like the one you showed later ; longer & much narrower leaves . It branch , blooms always bright yellow

Yep! I just wish it was easier to see the underside. Those flowers are surprisingly sturdy. 😅 Mine looks like yours with the red tinge which I prefer.

Oh I haven't seen that one! It will be interesting to see how the flowers look like and if they remain "normal". Some silver Hoya don't have quite the most normal looking flowers for the species xD But foliage certainly makes up for it!

Perhaps Bay Leaf Hoya 🤣🤣🤣… I’m sorry just watched you video when you were talking about that people saying that all Hoyas leaves looks like bay leaf Anyway love your videos!! “My Favorite…” is my “favorite” expression. I too have many favorite plants, mainly polychilos Phals for the same reason this one is one of your favorites…. Blooms😂

So you said you planted this Hoya in coco chips. Do you have a video explaining why you choose certain mediums? I bought a fungii that is in chips and it is hard to feel it for watering. I have propped the fungii in soil and it is doing well

I do have a video on potting mixes - two in depth ones. :) But I also probably ranted why I use coco chips vs other mediums :D Basically, it is the easiest to get at the moment and it works really well for the plants. I wouldn't grow every Hoya in it though, but I choose it for Hoyas I keep in my tents. My H. fungii is in coco peat and perlite (50-50 mix) in a self-wtering pot and growing well :)
