Scott Wilson was a really nice person. I got to talk to him while his wife attended a masterclass by animator Richard Williams. He was a staunch union man active in SAG, fighting for better pay of actors in cable TV movies.

Met Sid Haig and Julie Adams. Both completely different and both really nice to meet. Met Rutger Hauer that day as well. He was traveling to horror conventions on his own dime and raising money for a charity he created for mothers and their children born with HIV/AIDS. I almost didn't know that about the Oscars because I never cared about the Oscars. This is important to me though, Joe Bob. What we've got going on here, and it has been for decades. There is so much of these people's work I really appreciate, and thanks for bringing it up. Just a reminder to everyone out there, the people and things you care about are important.
