Explorer Steve Hall takes viewers inside the fascinating world of tree searching. In 2011, Steve became the 3rd person or group to find Hyperion, the tallest tree in the world. And in 2012, he became the 2nd person or group to find Helios, the 2nd tallest tree. By 2013, he had found all of the Top Ten tallest trees. Now 10 years later, Steve returns with his son Stefan to take him to see as many of these trees as they can safely reach. Along the way, major obstacles are encountered and new trees are searched for. When they attempt to reach 8th tallest tree Orion, they are thwarted due to extremely challenging terrain, thus threatening to end this epic adventure in failure.
Upon watching this film, Michael Taylor congratulated Steve on successfully finding Gulch Tower and told Steve "very well done!".
Winner of Best Nature Film (New York International Film Awards), Winner of Best Documentary (Los Angeles Film Awards), Winner of Best Nature Film (Oniros Film Awards), and Winner of Best Documentary Feature and Best Indie Filmmaker (Festigious International Film Festival).

Stefan will treasure this experience, as you will! This was no easy task, to say the least, but soul satisfying. You entered into the rugged and overgrown terrain of these mighty Giants to find the very tallest. And you made an exceptionally amazing and beautiful video of your journey. You accomplished what you wanted to. I very much enjoyed all the craziness. : ) Many, many thanks for this grand adventure, Steve Hall! ❤️😍💪🏻🌟💫👌🏻

Why do you think the Helios Grove hasn’t been leaked while everything else has?

This a question many have wondered. In talking to those in the know, I have heard 3 possible answers. 1- The main location leakers just can't find it. 2- Or the location leakers have found it but also spotted some of the hidden cameras in and around the area placed by the NPS, and thus they realize they can't leak the location without exposing their identities. 3- Or the location leakers actually grew a conscience and realize that a leak of this location could result in damage to the tree due to certain reasons I can't state publicly.
