Increasing cross-border violence between Israel, Hezbollah sparks fears of regional conflict

25 күн бұрынSince the war in Gaza broke out nine months ago, Israel and Lebanese militant group Hezbollah have been engaged in increasingly hostile tit-for-tat cross-border fire. In northern Israel, where more than 70,000 have already been displaced, first responders are stepping up preparations for the worst. CNA’s Sarah Coates reports.

Why didn't the reporter comment on Netanyahu threatening to turn Beirut and South Lebanon into Gaza? The Minister of Defence, Yoav Gallant, also said that Israel can send Lebanon back to the Stone Age. The reporter made it seem as if the talk of obliteration is coming from one side. Moreover, why omit the fact that over 90,000 people have also been displaced from Southern Lebanon because of the Israeli bombing campaign in South Lebanon?

Not Israel but NATO. Israel is NATO's army base in the Middle East. Because Israeli citizens are also Europeans who were brought from Europe in 1945 and settled in Palestine. And NATO countries give money and weapons to Israel every year to operate because as long as the Middle East remains stable, the need for America and its allies will remain in the region.
