Incredible antiques for the Chateau!!!

In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. KZfaq earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. Here are the charities that we've donated to so far:

I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

What a treat to meet Anders. I'd love to see his place, not that I'm suggesting he open his personal life up, but just to see his collection of beautiful objects, as he obviously has excellent taste and he's got such a lovely vibe too.

@@andyscot4844 THE PLATES ARE BEAUTIFUL AND "CLASSY" perhaps this is why you don't recognize classy quality porcelain. Why don't YOU donate a large sum to charity and then publish that you did...are you insecure, envious,or just jealous of a lady that does good for people...no clutter...art and making the donor feel even better about themselves.

I love Anders. He is such a creative and generous soul. He reminds me of a dear friend who died a couple of years ago, they could have been brothers. All those chandeliers and lamps and all are a true treasure to LaLande. ❤

@ChateauUnwrapped! Those Christmas plates are so fascinating! The colors are lovely! 💛 Daphne’s grandfather was an antique collector and we often find random antiques laying around the chateau property… One of our horse stables is currently packed full of his brocante purchases. We have yet to see what is in there but we plan to make a video when we open the stable and see what is inside! 😊 Thank you for sharing, Stephanie!

What a wonderful man Ander’s is. So kind and generous along with having such talent for restoring those stunning chandeliers and his knowledge of them. He’s as much of a rare find as the simply beautiful chandeliers that he so generously gave to the chateau. Visitors and generations of chatelaine’s to come will be able to gaze adoringly at them. If only more people were like him. I could chat with him for hours and just listen to his stories of where all of the items came from. Also many happy returns of the day Anders. I hope you were also spoilt rotten on your birthday like you have spoilt Stephanie with your generous gifts. 💝 xxx

Anders deserved far more footage on his amazing gifts in detail as the man himself. The history, how he came about in detail how he came about La Lande. The lighting itself deserved a full complete vlog, an interview in detail. And then again in full with the other gifts. How did he come to make tiara's? how in detail and closer longer footage would have been great. I feel any other chateau vlogger there would be a full vlog to longer than the normal, this guy was a major interest and massive expensive rare gifts given. I would never inherit nor ever afford what he gave Stephanie. I could have done better. Spoilt and reality check. Its as if one has been too spoilt with gifts and needs to stand back and take a reality check. The London man who made period clothes of himself got given a complete full footage with question after question by Steph and Phillip and that dressmaker did not gift these 2 anything but time. Anders superceeds ten fold. The Tiara's in the past as his current tiara deserved a close view and sit down how he came about to do this in detail alone. The tiara deserved a full gown as Stephanie does and can dress up more for others too. Stephanie failed. Love Aners, what a guy!

Anders (and everyone who sends treasures or antiques they have been holding on to) must be so happy to see some of his collection in situ in a beautiful home that is always in need of fine furnishings. There they will be appreciated and admired by every resident and guest for years and years, and not sit in storage. I know it’s quite a dilemma when you have things you have purchased (like he said, sometimes you make a great deal on them or you even rescue them!) that you know the artistic value/rarity/age/quality of, but you have no place or need for them in your current home, but can’t bear to let them go because your friends and family do not want or appreciate them, and you can’t easily sell them to the right person who will appreciate them either! So it’s a joy to find them a home where they will get use and care. And we all know Stephanie has made it a goal to begin to accumulate nicer antiques for the chateaux that she could never afford to buy much of before, as she begins to finish more and more rooms and let go of some things that were just making-do for a while, so what an amazing thing that the viewers are able to contribute to that, and La Lande will continue to be decorated in an eclectic, worldly style spanning all eras of it’s existence because people send their things from all over the globe!

I don't always watch Cadeaux because while the gifts are so thoughtful, wonderful and loving, I am easily overwhelmed by all the things being opened, packaging and papers, and activities. Today was so amazing--the sharing of the heiroom embroideries, framed Oriental duck art, and stunning pieces by and from Anders. Like an unending treasure chest of beauty! All so amazingly beautiful and generous. You are truly blessed with exceptionally thoughtful and loving friends from near and far. I am so stunned. And the second you lifted the box lid on the first Christmas plate, I immediately felt that it looked just like your father's work. Just so very special and remarkable. The colors are delightful. Overwhelmed! 🙏🏻🌷⚜️💗⚜️💗⚜️🌷🙏🏻

It's so nice to see so many beautiful things come together in such a beautiful setting! Sadly there are a lot of people who gather so many lovely things together and discover later in life that they're not as appreciated by the remaining people in their lives. I was astounded by all what I saw this evening! Thank you for letting me be a part of this incredible happening. The chandeliers, the textile, the plates, the tea set, the tiara. Anders is so cool in his generous attitude, and the chateau is becoming more and more of a Grand Chateau, while its people remain down to earth and without pretence. I just realized that this channel really touches my love of giving. I can’t give much to the people I love right now, and that hurts me. This channel gives me a reprieve from that feeling. And while I am enjoying that feeling I can do what little I can for someone out there by watching the ads here. When you opened the beautiful coasters/plates, my first thought was how they reminded me of your father's art, simply the most beautiful gift ever..TEARS😭 Anders, you have a heart of gold and so very generous! Then Joe, so kind!!! This is a true testament to how very much you are loved Stephanie and all the Lalanders! You give so much to all of us by letting us all escape to a place of so much love and light and for allowing us to be a part of history if we choose to, as well as feeling apart of a wonderful community!! The curtains would be even more beautiful if you used "two" sets together to make the downstairs bathroom window interesting...they all go together and are perfect !!! Shorter in the middle and two that match longer on both sides...gathered with fullness for privacy, but will allow the sunlight still....such a generous gift !

@@andyscot4844 Having volunteers is not enough to pay for the restoration work for the chateau, chapel, outhouses and gardens or for the maintenance and volunteers to whom she provides bed and board. For that she works creating 3 videos per week which is quite time consuming and the chateau takes paying guests. Also some of them like Dan and Natty are paid. But that is not the point, is it? What is making you feel so unhappy that you need to be attacking and disparaging a vlogg where there is barely anything to attack?

Hi Stephani - I have to say it was a somewhat surprising broadcast tonight, not least the beautiful white curtains - they will fit so nicely on La Land. - and then Danish Anders with all the beautiful things, all the Christmas plates by Bjørn Wiinblad (born: 20 / 9-1918) and the blue fluted testel from the Royal Porcelain Factory, (I have collected it myself for many years). I can well understand you touching to receive such beautiful gifts - and there is no doubt that it will all adorn the beautiful castle. The gift of love (the picture) - put an end to it, for a beautiful gift rain. Many warm thoughts from someone who sees all the videos - I live as the nearest neighbor to Koldinghus, which is an old castle, which is now a museum.

Somehow you need to tuck a little note in the cushion cover with the beaded blackberries with the name of the woman who made them and approx year..so that 50-60-70+ years frm now the little memory of her won’t be lost forever.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your love of antique/vintage china, silver, textiles, art, books, etc... The collecting trend in the USA at this time is anti-porcelain--- which is sad but I guess that it does allow me to purchase beautiful porcelain art works at low prices. Maybe the trend will change in the future; you are certainly doing your part to make antiques of all kinds in vogue again. Thank you!

All this is very new to me… I just discovered your channel about a week ago and was delighted with the people and place. The presents are just so beautiful especially because of the meaning behind them. To be entrusted with someone’s heirloom is so touching ❤️ The best part is that you show your emotions completely for us to see how you value all the gifts. I am watching you from Brazil. I’ll probably never be able to visit this marvelous place but I’m very grateful for technology to afford me the possibility of knowing all that from here. Lots of love from afar.

Brilliant , the taste level of this gentleman is amazing , he understand that light is everything and every chandelier should always have little lamp shades ... ads such an atmosphere .... the charger plates deserve to end on a wall do a Warhol of it ...all was just fantastic , and the quality of it all ..... no words , scored big times !

Take away the formality of court life from when this chateau was built and just imagine the romance, geographical isolation, peace, excited when anyone comes for a visit, preparation and joy in being around family/friends, opening gifts and reading letters from far away lands, possibilities of unknown treasures around every corner, fixing leaking pipes, building up the farm (goats are delicious), restoring the grounds.... this is no different than what we see here today. Except back then ... they had less tiaras and noone knew what gluten was.
