In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. KZfaq earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

The crystal snowflake ornament is a tradition with them. They release one every year. We currently have over thirty. They are valuable and expensive. It’s a lovely tradition.

Stephanie, oh my, it’s always such fun with Gerald, your mom & Percy around. So glad to see them…they’ve been missed, for sure! And so neat you were sent the Dolly book ( and so many other fab things from Tennessee!) I just saw a video of Dolly’s new song WORLD ON FIRE that she sang at the 58th ACM (American Country Music) Awards Show. I was blown away! If you haven’t seen it….you gotta take a look! I’m telling you! Dolly has spoken and she’s telling politicians what she thinks…and they better listen too! But of course, Dolly does her music in the most creative and wonderful way. She is a spitfire. I just love her ❤….she’s an American treasure. It’s hard to believe she’s 77! Yes..the wigs, the makeup, the plastic surgery, the “upper profile.” But still it’s hard to look that good at 77 even with all that “help!” She’s the consummate performer! You go Dolly!

As the channel grows and more people find you they will go back and re-watch all the older videos on the main Channel but they will also come here and watch so I think the revenue from this channel will probably continue for quite a while. That makes me happy. I think you are a really good example of how a KZfaqr can use their platform for good. I wish more channels who do receive gifts from viewers would do something like this. It really is inspirational. You are spreading light in the world and I really respect that.

Many US states and city names originate from First Nation names. I figured that was the case here, so I looked it up. The name Tennessee derives from "Tanasi", a Cherokee town in the eastern part of the state that existed before the first European American settlement.

On a side note, looking at something of a theme that carried through this adorable video… Though inevitably it’s understood that a little rain must fall and each of the seasons bring us their challenges, here are some sincerely lighthearted thoughts from an admitted and unwavering seeker of ‘la vie en rose.’ For maximum joy and sweet memories to cherish, warm your heart with family gatherings, feed the soul with laughter and heat your home for comfort… because life is too short and time is too precious to lose with even a day spent wrapped and braced against the chill. Cold has its place outdoors. One’s home should be an inviting and cosy shelter to keep the elements at bay. Treat yourself well, you deserve it. Stay warm, stay wise and stay well.

I live in the southern valley of Tn. The butterflies are a trademark of Dolly. Her theme park Dollywood in Pigeon Forge Tn has butterflies throughout the park. Some of the garden beds and hedges are butterfly shaped. Pigeon Forge is at the beginning of the Smokey Mountains. Beautiful state I live in.

Then when I heard you say Crystal lake !! My family is there in Lake in The Hills which is the next township over !! What a small world.

What a wonderful time with y’all!! Always lots of laughs. I’m from central Texas and grew up with horses, as my grandfather was an avid horseman. I see the horseshoe on Mummy’s wall. It’s hanging the wrong way! Its luck is running out. The shoe should be hanging with the ends up, toward the ceiling. 19:57

Lovely to see Isabella, Percy and Jerry with you and Phillip. Your relationship with your mom, makes me miss my Mom that is Heaven. Always we love to watch your channels. I think you should continue this channel and let everyone send plates, tablecloths, cloth napkins, napkin rings and ornaments for the table. Those would be useful gifts for everyday at the Chateau and it would continue your wonderful charity work.

Please consider some fund raising musical garden parties this summer to help with the chapel renovations..can you also receive help from the French version of historical buildings and perhaps private groups??? You have so many talented people around you that it would be quite easy to put on a few of these types of events. Love your vlogs and cheering you on from Canada
