The problem with videos such as these is it only shows the gravy part of cnc machining. Not shown is the hours toiling over 3D drawings, tooling operations and their order, locating bugs & editing the insane G-code output from CAM systems, tool breakage due to improper decimal point placement, time spent proving the G-code, nor the pressure applied by customers who watch this and believe it's a piece o' cake.

I'm glad that I didn't have to hear to machining. I had to wear ear plugs for 25 years to prevent hearing loss, I don't want to listen to the squealing of the tool cutting now. I spoke too soon, that last cutting threads on the rebar was a noisy example.

! Если вы станочник по профессии , да ещё и программист то возможно ! У нас поставили такой же ,Начальство решило что поймало бога за яйца , перед этим уволили целый штат обычных станочников , когда попытались этот центр запустить , потребовалось несколько инженеров и программистов с высокой оплатой труда и тут эффективные менеджеры зачесали репу ! Вернуть всех станочников удалось через год . А центр стоит и изготавливает только трудно изготовляемые детали . Думаете за эти убытки кто то понес ответственность ?! Нет !

I do certainly hope that the funny gear profile, is just roughing and to have a finishing cutter that is less wide and therefore ridged, a guiding boss for finishing...
