Я не могу смотреть на это без слёз. У меня машине 28 лет, и я стараюсь поддерживать её в рабочем состоянии, потому что купить новую просто не имею возможности. А здесь почти новые машины уничтожают.

@@tehnik8810 ну это смотря какая машина. Если тоёта- то у неё возможно двигатель и коробка родные. И половина сайленблоков- рычагов и т.д. расходники конечно меняные: ролики ремни грм помпа подш гены, бендикс и т.д по мелочи. если жигули- то..... за другие японцы ничего не скажу- не ездил, но говорят крепче современных

Про уровень жизни не забывай. Там машины старше 7 проще в утиль сдать и новую купить так как налоги высокие приходится платить за машины старше 7 лет.

@@athallarayyan8394 I have bought many parts from wrecking yards, particularly ones where the customer brings tools and removes the parts for a lower price. The junk cars are usually there for about 3 months. Some cars have a lot of parts removed in that time, and some have not had any parts removed. At the end of this time, the cars are crushed and replaced with other cars that the company has bought. It just depends upon how popular a type of car is that determines how well the parts will sell.

Я не сторонник капсистемы, но Форд в кризисные годы, чтобы не останавливать производство, каждые два года выдавал своим рабочим новый автомобиль в кредит, с рассрочкой платежа. Благодаря этому он сохранил свое производство.

@@user-qo7wz1qn7f Ой да ладно Вам, у Форда и так рынков сбыта своей продукции было полно. Он первый, кто смог поставить автомобиль на конвейер и тем самым нефигово так его удешевить. Другое дело, что на заводах Форда работа была просто как у ломовой лошади и никто не смел жаловаться, поскольку зарплаты он всегда выплачивал вовремя, а недовольных без жалости выгонял за забор.

They were designed to tolerate the average driver for a while, but that wasn't the most important factor in their design. Disposal was the most important factor.

in countries where labor cost is expensive, it doesn't make sense to fix cars that have mechanical wear. South Korea exports a lot of used cars, or rather, buyers from countries where labor cost is cheap, come to South Korea to buy ship loads of used cars, and take them to their own countries, fix them and sell them.

I drive a ninth gen Impala with a crap-ton of miles on it. Both of our cars are products of GM's W-body architecture from the late 80's. Those cars would never make it to where your friend Lumi has traveled...not anywhere close. Our cars were designed to be utilitarian to the average family. Those cars were designed with their disposal as the most important design factor.

@@7t7o7 Tim, Agreed. I think the W Body model was one of the better vehicles GM has made. Many years ago I had the heads reworked (they commonly warp.) Other than that, it is still running strong. Not burning or leaking oil. Love that car!

@@qhejola8855 обе точки это крайности, нужно, чтобы авто было может не с супер дизайном 1 максимально ремонтопригодным 2 делалось на долгую эксплуатацию 3 достаточно комфортное и господдержка за покупку автомобиля именно такого типа. Но пока у нас делают корыта, сколько их покупал с новья всё....

A lot of people leave comments like "why destroy a functional, good condition car?" The reason why is South Korea new law is not allow the car to run which can not pass new standard about emission of green gas. You can't drive that car in the city.

한국에는 차량이 포화상태라서 중고차 가격이 매우 저렴합니다. 미션이나 엔진이 망가지면 수리하는것 보다 다른 중고차를 구입하는 것이 더 저렴하기 때문입니다.

@@hellodiamond so why don't you export them to somewhere else like to middle east and other poor countries in north Africa where cars are more expensive. $10k for a rusty used car is the norm in my country. You already export new ones through this route, scrapping should be the last resort since it's not efficient at all! Am coming to Korea soon and pickup a car from your junkyard 😂

ответ прост. безопасность и технологичность. по хорошему так и надо 3-5 лет и на выброс. но у нас иное мышление. я тоже не понимаю. почему корейские машины которые точно 10 лет отходят, в Кореи уничтожают через 5 лет. но они высокоразвитое государство. там всё для людей.

@@KiingIrbisandComrades через 3-5 лет слишком малый срок для техники. Что в Советское время делали у некоторых до сих пор работает. А сейчас техника одноразовая, ломается быстро. Ну а эти авто жаль для утилита, все так ездят. В России такие в продаже, да еще хуже.

Не, у нас так жестоко их не утилизируют. Те что на ходу - продают, по те что нет - ремонтируют и продают, а те что не пригодны ремонту - разбирают и продают по запчастям.

In Korea ist es sehr teuer Autos zu reparieren, genauso wie in Deutschland. Deswegen werden auch hier Autos mit "kleinen" Schäden einfach verschrottet, weil eine Reparatur sich nicht mehr lohnt. Eine neue Kupplung kostet hier in Deutschland schnell mal 2000€, wenn der Wagen 12 Jahre alt ist und 250000km gelaufen hat, wird er halt gleich verschrottet.

From what I could find apparently in a lot of cases, in Korea, you can get more money trading in your car to a scrap yard than to a dealer, especially if it is a diesel like that soul likely was.

In Korea 12 years is the maximum for a car to be on the road after that you have to buy a new one. They don’t want the air pollution in danger of a car breaking down in traffic.

Because of air pollution regulations, they junk a car I think this Kia Soul is a diesel version, so the government is encouraging the owner to junk the car by providing a subsidy.
