This is Ford's fighting chance in a tough segment after Kuga became a questionable nameplate in South Africa. Developed from ground up in China through the JMC-Ford JV and it has been delivered to SA as a rumoured first right hand drive batch to the country.

They are trying so much to keep their market in South Africa but the Chinese are currently doing well in the midrange suv and family suv in this segment in the country. Thanks for the review 👊🏽

The interior give that Chinese vibes. I'll rather go for haval jolion, probally cheaper with more spec and that huge sunroof😂😂😂The ford is not that expensive but I'll save money and go for Haval Jolion

This is actually developed in China via a JMC & Ford collaboration. That's why it doesn't have Ford Sync Infotainment system.

@@sym767Miles apart? I disagree, especially since this car is mainly developed by JMC together with Ford. JMC is a Chinese company and this Territory, if I remember correctly, is based on a JMC platform not Fords, hence it doesn't even have a Ford Sync system. The little improvement there may be, if any, is probably due to age difference between the H6 and this Ford. The H6 was launched in 2021 and no major updates have been made other than just adding variants. 👍👍

i love the front of the ford well done amazing review are we getting longer reviews now its great , oh and I have gone back to watch the older reviews enjoying the playlist lol but yes the ford has some competition to fight for our money china has arrived and yes they didn't make the right choice taking away our favorite car focus fiesta

I read this when I was working on the GLC and I was like, I am going further in that review😅. Went a little overboard but had to finish the trip. Thanks a lot for going back, always great to see old videos resurfacing on monthly performance. The competition is just too tight this time around, back then Territory was playing in a small pool, now it's a different story and I struggle to differenciate it from the rest except that it's a Ford. We should see, so far though, the sales are good and Ford is winning.

Aowa Thabo, Mazda is good, Yes but compared to Ford they can beat Ford on overall presentation and premium feel but driving dynamics, not easy to beat Ford at that. I am, however, excluding this car in my comment. This does not drive like a Ford as I know it.🤔

@@sebuwam Eish, hayi no. It will tke some convincing for me to agree.🤔🤣🤣 I had a 2 Fords and drove my cousin's Mazdas and felt they drove way better. Maybe I need to do back to back of Ford and Mazda to see. Maybe this Territory and CX-5? Ill see 😁😁👍👍

I watched the Shanghai and Beijing Auto show and all I can say is wow. I am not buying a car until next year Feb as proper things are coming

It's definitely the trending style in China since this was manufactured there and being sold to that market, it needs to appeal to them as the main market.
