These diesel engines are being used only for shunting of Howrah Rajdhani. The main locomotives of Howrah Rajdhani is WAP 7

Yes, WDS were "S" stands for Shunting . These WDS are used in Station yards for Shunting . They take train rake in the yard .

It looked nice to see HWH Rajdhani pulled by WDS6 although if the main locomotive is WAP7. By the way, nice scene to see an HOG WAP7 at the other side.

Two observations on your video: - 1. Good to see the coupling person is wearing gloves. Such basic safety items are getting used in India. 2. WDS still runs pretty fast, even when pulling the entire rakes. Why is it not used for long run?
