Rick is so correct about the difference in the meaning of spice between Indians and the rest of the world. We actually mean the complexity of flavors when we mean spicy. We mean bland when we say something is not spicy. Hot Cheetos is not hot taste-wise, it is just dangerously colored.

You will get sick if you eat alot of street food... Because people here are mostly immune to all this.. But please make sure that it's clean and hygienic food. Because most of the street food is not very hygienic.... I'm really concerned that you'll get sick ...

korbin is gonna cry after having street food in INDIA either because of the textures and spices or because he won't be able to spend 100 dollars or may be both whereas Rick will enjoy each and every flavour and the richness of INDIAN food .

I am so glad Rick understood that Indian spicy foods are not suppose to be hot. Not every food is really hot, some regions make spicy and hot food some doesnt.

The way Indrani pronounced is the British way, Rick pronounced it in the American accent. You can check this in Oxford learner's dictionary 😁 Both are correct!

I'm a mumbaikar (means I reside in Mumbai), but I gotta say, if you're coming to India to try street food, sure Mumbai has some delicious dishes, but Delhi has some of the best vegetarian street foods in the WORLD, no doubt! (Especially "soya" varieties which is very rare in Mumbai) So please do visit both cities to actually enjoy the street flavour of India. Edit: And also, there are few street foods which you'll get only in the evening, so... Yeah! Good luck man!

What you can do is take those foods to local slums or any orphanages and I'm sure you gonna head Indian newspapers or even media the next day. India loves generosity from others. But not from themselves.

I can sympathize with Korbin. Some people just have heightened senses. I am born to a family of spice-lovers. But, I'm the black sheep of the family. I can't eat the everyday food at my parent's place without complaining about the spice and the heat. It's not like I've not been exposed to spice. I'm just much more sensitive to every single sensation.

So guys, Indian pronunciation is akin to British English. I'm pretty sure they also pronounce "oregano" like that. Also, in India spicy=heat and hot= temperature. A lot of street food in Mumbai is a combination or sweet, spicy and sour so you can have it customized to your liking, most of the dishes have a sweet chutney included. Most stalls would have spoons you just have to ask. Though only some stalls prepare food with plastic gloves. I pray for Korbin.

Nothing can make Korbin cry like Indian food does. He can't eat spicy stuff but he wants to eat Indian food items. Its sounds like our age old Indian sayings regarding hot ghee in the mouth.
