The thumbnail looks mostly like a 420i mixed with a few 430l parts, doesn't have the side counterbalance cylinders like a 430l, but has a dogbone like the 420i, also has 2 servos for j3 instead of 1 like the 420i and 430l, other than faster movement and higher payload, glad to see they are keeping them similar, makes it easier for me to program and maintain, tho I will probably never see something that new in the plant I work in 😂

You are graduating and yet you still ask how to learn what you're graduating in?... That would be several years too late I'd say, also you should be capable of Googling the manual or emailing the manufacturer about this, instead of asking it on random KZfaq videos, something about making an effort in your graduation...

@@thanghohuu2346 it might be easier to ask specifically what you want to do with a fanuc than a broad question of how to control it, do you have access to a teach pendant?
@billypetrey72214 жыл бұрын
@@thanghohuu2346 in world, the x axis is forward away from robot and back towards base of robot, y axis goes left to right of the robot, z axis goes up and down, little x axis pitches the tooling up and down, little y axis swivels the tooling side to side and little z axis turns the tooling left to right, in joint, x axis turns base, that's j1, y axis moves the body back and forth, that's j2, z axis moves the arm up and down, that's j3, little x axis spins the arm, that's j4, little y axis moves wrist up and down, that's j5, and little z axis spins the wrist, that's j6, those are the 2 most commonly used "modes" used, to jog the robot or move it thru it's motions, you have to turn teach pendant to teach and hold the deadman switch and shift button, if you only want to move to 1 position in program, press the step button to turn it to step mode, but make sure it has a clear path to that position, because it will find the fastest way to reach that position, sometimes binding the joints in the process also if going from one side of robot to the other, but that's getting more into kinematics, that's the basics of how to move a fanuc robot, unlike some people, I have no problem sharing my knowledge, I've done it at work, and will do so elsewhere, that is how we become better as a society, by helping one another when we can, if you have anymore questions, I will answer them to the best of my ability

isn't 8:20 just pure fantasy? From what I've heard of, these robotic arms are not at the level of repeatability that is demanded from CNC machines, let alone capable of withstanding strenuous cutting forces.
@brandonnewman81353 жыл бұрын
Robots can repeat movement within nanometers. personally never heard of them being vulnerable to cutting force the are built to go through a lot.
@aleksandersuur94752 жыл бұрын
@@brandonnewman8135 These ones certainly don't do nanometer repeatability and yes, their rigidity is horrible compared to a typical mill, it's just an inevitable consequence of having so many joints in series. That all would even be forgivable, but the real problem lies in the fact they don't do accurate movements. Repeatable movements yes, but not accurate, it's so bad they don't even spec accuracy for such robots, only repeatability. They interpolate cartesian coordinates, but the mechanics are a series of 6 rotary joints, which bend and flex differently depending on how they are loaded. A straight line in the robot software is very far away far away from a straight line in real world. So they really are no good for precision machining, that remains the job of a lathe or a mill. But what they are doing here is deburring, which doesn't require such accuracy, all that is required is to maintain contact between edge being deburred and the tool, it's more filing than cutting.
@No-bb1jq Жыл бұрын
@@brandonnewman8135 Their positioning is in triple digit microns even without machining forces and vibrations taken into a count. Good enough for lost foam castings and deburring, but the damping of a multi-ton granitite bed and the rigidity of short chains of wide box guides simply make traditional machine tool topologies the better solution for the task.
