I love this song especially the idea that the first half was written pre-rehab and the back half after. I do think that hurts the song a bit though. That second half is not at the same level as the first

This particular verse was written for this song, but Em used it in a freestyle. there are others who began as a freestyles and got turned to songs, but this particular one wasn't the case.

Em in an old-school freestyler as well. He has all of his writtens memorized, he also writes to refine his bars. He then takes those lines and mashes them together to have the most impact in the moment, and to fit the best possible punchline in when it's needed - where his battle rap roots shine. Lil Wayne gets mad respect for the way he changed freestyling to be something you just do in the moment, but freestyling has a really long background, and many different styles.

I've heard that he wrote half the song and went off the top of his head with the other half this man is incredible even with this laid-back beat he's able to show us how great he still is it's just I can't say enough about Eminem and I'll be honest with you Cliff I would love to see you react to one of my favorite MCs called Immortal Technique Dancing with the Devil or if you never know both great storytelling song you probably heard of Immortal Technique but he's my favorite rapper but Eminem still my number one if that makes sense to you.
