A lot of Sometimes Y is great as a driving/chilling album. It's very different for Yelawolf, but he also makes it work incredibly well. I'd love to see a 2nd rock album using what he's learned from producing that one, I can't see it being anything but better.

Hot damn... I love how Eminem does these songs in such a way that you're always finding new hidden verses anywhere from weeks to years later... Of course there are a few freestyle raps and things that are fast like this that I generally stay away from, because it's usually the content that has the most swearwords, and there's a bit of a limit on what amount of swearing I can easily listen to... Swearing is fine, but too much sometimes turns me off depending on what song I'm listening to... Stuff like the recovery album, or the kamikaze album are my favorites, even in the explicit versions, and same goes for individual songs like "like toy soldiers" which, like the albums I mentioned, you can feel the emotions and the good message behind the song

I still don't know wtf Em is doing with his verse on this track even though it's been almost a decade since I've first heard this & it still fucking with my head but maybe that was the point of writing it & yes I suffer from Anxiety & panic attacks & insomnia cuz I have legit PTSD but that verse probably just explained how racey my brain really is in reality 💯 That verse is like my brain when I first wake up in the morning & reality actually starts to kick in again after a good dream that isn't real!!!!!! He pretty much just did a verbal version of what it's like to have all those issues & thoughts all spilling out of your head at once & how spacey you're thoughts can be when you're a fuckin basket case in real life 💯 This is equivalent to like having all of your thoughts crammed together all at one time!!!!!!!

I openly admit that I am a full-blown Stan…Em is my musical 🐐, and I think he did have the most complex verse in lyrics and flow delivery. But daaaamn…Crooked was AMAZING on this! As someone else in the comments alluded to, he rode the f-ck out of that beat! 🤯 Em’s verse was arguably *too* complex. I find Crooked’s verse the most sonically pleasing. I’m not a huge hip-hop head (generally lean more into rock and singer-songwriter stuff)…but just love Eminem. 😂 But Crooked’s flow over that beat was one of the sickest things I’ve ever heard (next to Em’s verses in “Best Friend” and “Medicine Man”), regardless of genre. Crooked should have had waaay more time on this track.
