It can be expensive to buy soap making kit when you are just starting out your soap making journey.
I just put together this short video quickly to help very beginner soap maker. When I first started making soap, I did not want to buy everything & that is why I used the supplies from home. You can do the same. No need for fancy containers & molds when you are just starting out.
Make soap inexpensively by using some supplies that are available around you like-
Plastic containers- They should say #5 at the bottom
Molds- cardboard box can be used very well. Use a small one if you are making a small batch of soap.
Knife- to cut the soap. I used a cheap dollar tree knife to cut soaps when I first started out.
**Keep these things designated to soap making only & do not use for food & kitchen.
Bastille soap recipe-
Water- 6.08oz
Lye- 2.28oz
Olive oil- 11.20oz
Coconut oil- 4.80oz
