Keep in mind that this specific niche of death mesh is designed to be satire in a way. Think up the most depraved thing you can imagine, combine brutal blast beat on top of blast beats and then you have bands like this.

The song is about the catholic church's historical (and continual) sexual abuse and exploitation of children. Reductio ad absurdum is a valid response to human degeneracy. They're extreme for the sake of pure hedonism while calling it out. Fucking amusing. Can't deny pure skill though.

Weedisforloosers, you do or don’t like Dickie Allen (the vocalist)? As someone who enjoys extreme vocals (and can do them myself; I’ve taught myself with the help of various YT tutorials for about a year), Dickie is one of my favorite vocalists. His other band SCUMFUCK has new music coming out sometime this year, I caught one his twitch streams when he was tracking vocals for it and it sounds sick.

I think you'd be surprised at how many christian people are actually like this. So many actually do have logical reason behind their beliefs. Not to take away the element of faith in the unknown. But those who are so vehemently against anything that is or can be used for good focus on extremists who have no sense of rationality so as to paint a broader picture that all people who say they subscribe to the same beliefs are extreme.

I’m a Catholic missionary, and I’ve served in 4 different Latin American countries over the last decade. There are quite a few instances where we’ve run into paedophilia among priests, and not only is it disgusting, it’s pervasively vile. To take ones gift and responsibility and misuse and abuse it is horrifying and evil. It wrenches my heart to hear about it, and I pray for the souls of all those involved. Having said all that...there’s no way I can listen to a song like this on repeat 😂. Thanks for the interesting discussion though. More attention does need to be drawn to the issue, and IA certainly get it done, albeit in a disgustingly graphic way. God bless

As a child raised Catholic turned agnostic, I absolutely love your channel. I saw nothing but judgment and hate growing up in a church that was all talk when it came to love and understanding. Frankly, my value system comes a great deal from Christianity and growing up learning those concepts, although I still have my reservations. I struggle with judging others on a daily basis after growing up in a "perfect" household, even though I'm aware that I'm wrong and light years away from being who I want to be as far as being a kind, decent, loving, and understanding individual. It's a daily struggle that I will never give up on. I enjoy listening to this band, even though I had to desensitize myself to the lyrics I could hear before I could actually enjoy the music. I reacted quite like you did Pastor Rob, feeling sick to my stomach. But you definitely can't deny the massive amount of talent each one of these guys has to make technical music like this. In my opinion, Dickie has to be the best vocalist in the genre. Anyways, I'm rambling. It took me 6 years of listening to infant annihilator to realize that their songs and entire first album are about the horrors that occur within the catholic priesthood and arguably the papacy. In ONE SONG! You figured it out dad! Best explanation of the bands angle and intensions I've heard. I realized the bands intent to in a sense "Expose" the evils of the holy sea when I did a deep dive into the vaticans history as well as papal history.

This is probably the most diverse, deep, wowing analysis I’ve seen you guys do. Literally opens a hidden desensitized part of my brain. I didn’t think you’d make it through let alone discuss to the extent that you did And thanks for the insight on abortion It really is difficult to live in today knowing these things are happening right now and onwards everyday from now *speaking about abortion* I DID NOT EXPECT YOU TO SEE THAT DEEP INTO THE SONG. I caught myself saying wow out loud. I am currently waiting for some test results in my car at the hospital so I had the time 😂 there was a lot of extreme blur, noisy fuzz... grotesqueness to plow through to get to a quite imaginative, technical.. *im looking for the word* trying to avoid saying deep. I feel like the world isn’t black and white but this song and discussion showed that the grey side of the world can probably do more damage than the black and white I am not as devout as I was in Christianity a while back because of my own indifferences about church. It’s difficult because outside the churches, temples or mosques there really is no organization where you can feel like you belong and just want to praise God and thank God and be with God... but does it mean we have to accept all these things the church does? I digress Point is, I remember from my Christian times the verse in revelations about Jesus’s almost.. disgust of indifference And our desensitization has become seamless indifference That scares me so much cause I know there are many things I am desensitized to, especially because I am not as devout as I used to be Sorry about the long review, I am just paying you back 😆 Kidding... this topic really brought out a lot of thoughts Wish there was a way I could discuss with you guys more about this and hear if my thoughts make sense I make music a lot about dark things but not really meant for shock value, mostly talking about emotions because really.. the issue is people can’t deal with the emotions that situations bring so they try to end the situation either by destroying the situation or supplementing inducement with something else causing “the Grey” I was talking about In conclusion I’d really like to thank you guys for doing what you do again I think this is one of the most useful KZfaq channels I have come across I watch a lot of stuff for enjoyment But not a lot channels really threaten the bases of my thinking and help me learn So thanks so much for that And if you have time Let me know what you think of my thoughts and if there is a way to discuss somehow God bless

They didn't mention that in the case if late term abortion they're describing its either illegal or the baby isn't viable or the pregnancy has a high chance to kill the mother. All they said is "I can think of a reason why..." when there are tons of medical reasons why. Also only about 2% of abortions are late term abortions. They are open to discuss the song but this isn't really a discussion of abortion, it's a presentation. They're welcome to their opinions, but it's not the whole picture, by their own admittance

I like how they sound, and as you said the lyrics are disturbing, but in many songs those lyrics are there to tell about something. As I understand their message, they wanted to show that many people who believe in God do despise or disrespect non-believers, and at the same time, sick and sometimes even deeply religious people do things much worse than what ordinary non-believers can imagine. That's why they took a prophet as an example "here is your prophet which you listened to, and look what he does now", so you believed the things he said was your truth ? What is your truth now ? In any case either you religious or not, you have to be aware of who you are and which state of mind you're in and which path are you going.

I really appreciate what you two are doing. There’s so much that we just dismiss as meaningless or trash not worth a second’s thought. I saw a few comments saying that the band wrote it purely to shock and be as brutal as possible and I think while that is likely true, it doesn’t mean that we should leave it there. I applaud you two for not avoiding the horrible reality that we face in a world torn to shreds by Sin to play it safe and not ruffle any feathers. I wanted to turn the video off when you started talking about abortion and I’m sure a lot of people did and I can’t say I blame them. But I so appreciate you saying, “If you are outraged by content and subject of the song, I sure hope you are outraged with this stuff over here as well”.

Please do a song by Behemoth! "The Satanist" is a good song by them.

I will say this, as my opinion here. It is so refreshing and nice to see someone of faith willing to approach a topic like this and have an actual conversation about it. I grew up in the bible belt in the south, and I grew over time to have a very negative relationship with "Church", which I later realized was the ideal of organized religion in a stereotypical sense. The hypocrisy of alway pointing a finger at someone else, and negating any arguments to the pastors', priests', etc, possible misrepresentation, or fundemental misunderstanding of portions of the bible deeply bothered me. It always felt wrong to me that we had this person who was just as flawed as anyone else telling me how my beliefs or faith needed to be handled or felt, especially without the ability to have constructive conversations about the topics at hand. I have been out of organized religion for 14 years, but have my own relationship with faith, cultivated on my own. If more religious representitives are willing to have conversations like this, who knows, maybe my opinion will change. For that, I thank you, and you will get my support from here on.
