you missed a bit of info in the wario myth. part of the reason he says "so ein mist" in the western release is because he originally said "oh my god" in the japanese version (luigi also said it, but wails in pain in the western release). this was done to remove religious references

14:37 You forgot Bowser Land lol. Dw I went ahead and looked for you. There’s a house there. Since Goomba hosts the battle games in this title, it might have been a scrapped feature where if you passed the house, you could start a battle minigame if you so chose to. Just my speculation though.

Not only does the mouse appear in Shy Guy's Perplex Express, but there's an event space where the Shy Guy (not the bandit) runs up to you and asks you where the thief is(he tells you if the thief is bandit or the mouse)

1:58 Funfact about Captain Syrup. For Wario Land: The Shake Dimension they renamed her "Kapitän Kandis" in the german version. And the german fanbase just decided their full name is "Syrup Kandis". 10:09 Whilst this is true I am pretty sure this isn't Mario Party 8 referencing Paper Mario's second outing rather than both these games referencing the mouse enemies from the original Yoshi's Island. 13:08 That has nothing to do with the myth in question but pretty cool that you can see the pipes underwater. That we get to see the actual pipes beyond entry and exit point is rather rare.

Always interpreted that the Goomba houses in Mario Party 2 were where the Goomba that hosts the Battle and Duel mini-games was waiting before he was called upon.

15:10 I have some proof for this cheat. The other day I was playing Mario Party Superstars on Peach’s Birthday cake. DK used a custom dice and rolled a 4. The star was 6 spaces away, so DK had no reason not to roll that or higher. Guess what he landed on? *A HIDDEN BLOCK. HE HAD TO KNOW IT WAS THERE.* Now, it should be noted I was not playing alone, but DK was a CPU

The thing is this is not a cheat as you can also now where the hidden blocks are. If you open the map view and go above the different spaces when you are selecting the one that has the hidden block your control will rumble. So its not a cheat is just simulating the cpu doing that strategy.

I can confirm one instance that the CPUs actually do cheat: In Mario Party 2, the CPUs can mash so fast when Boo steals from them that they lose less coins than is actually physically possible for a human. For example, in a 20 turn game, after turn 5, the minimum Boo can steal is 19 coins. However, for CPUs on Hard, the minimum they can lose is 16. It's literally impossible for it to be that low when stealing from a human player, no matter how good their mashing is.

I swear to god, in mario party 8 only, the dices are absolutely not rigged and you can influence your roll with good timing. I got so good at it back in the day that I could consistently hit 8-10.

Fun Fact for the computer players “cheating” in superstars: It technically isn’t cheating because you can do it as well. If you look at the map and move the cursor on spaces until one vibrates, it has a hidden block on it. There’s no distinct vibration indicating if its a star of just coins, but its great to know

Super Mario Party Fun fact; At Ghostly Hollow in Challenge Road mode, there's a Boo who normally blushes when the player talks to him, but if you use the Boo character, he just never seems shy and even encourages the Boo player. Myth confirmed.

CPUs use custom dice blocks in completely nonsensical ways just to land on blue spaces all the time, so I think it makes sense that once in a while, when they do this, they'll get a hidden block.

One of the best 'computer players cheat' moments can be found in the Stephenplays clip 'Rewarding Stupidity', where a DK COM makes a ludicrously stupid move only to land on a hidden star block at the end. XD

Not a myth since it’s happened to me, but in super, if bowser get on a bad luck space and visit magikoope, he’ll be pretty scared to give bad luck to essentially his boss (doesn’t change gameplay wise)

the crust and certain toppings take longer to eat. its in the description in mario party 3 and superstars. its peperoni and crust take essentially more presses of the button to eat it.

About Joey's fake anti-piracy screen videos, making fake anti-piracy screens was an Internet trend awhile back, and his "Piracy is no Party" set off that trend. With really showed some people's creativity when they made fake anti-piracy screens. But it does make it hard to track down real anti-piracy screens because that trend took off so huge back then. fyi, for those who never played Mario Party DS, the "Piracy is no Party" video, the bottom screen showing the characters in jail where it has layered over it "TURN POWER OFF NOW", that's not an image made up for the one who started that trend of fake anti-piracy screens, that image comes straight from the intro of the story mode of Mario Party DS. The "TURN POWER OFF NOW" message layered over it however is entirely made-up for the fake anti-piracy message

He also says "Oh may god." in the Japanese version of the game so it wouldn't surprise me he actually is saying "Oh I missed." but because of the thick German accent it's coming out as "D'oh I missed."

5:25 “There’s a secret Yoshi and Wiggler themed minigame in Mario Party 1” Worded in this exact way I’d say it’s true rather than a busted myth. Secret doesn’t mean unlockable, and I wouldn’t consider just unlockable minigames to be secret, rather anything that’s not there by default, such as unlockables and, well, those hidden behind the developer menu.

Yeah that one is straight up wrong. The minigmae is literally in the game's code and fully playable with gameshark codes. (You can even get it in a board game and have it show up, but you need to replace an existing mini game with it)

It was always my assumption that the Goomba houses in MP2 represent the place the Goomba NPC stays while waiting for players to land on the Battle Minigame spaces. He is the only NPC who doesn’t have a specific place to wait in otherwise. The Koopa is at the bank, Toad and Koopa Kid are on Star Spaces, Bowser materializes when an item is used… Goomba has his house.

I'm not sure thats accurate on the "doh I missed" one. Its true Wario's voice actor was german but the rest of Wario's lines are in English, such as "Wario, I've gotta win" when he wins a board. Why would they make just 1 line be in german and the rest of his lines be in English? A funny aside related to the "Doh I missed" line though is that in the Japanese version of Mario Party 1 Wario(and Luigi) said "Oh my God!" When sometbing bad happens to them, but the line was changed in the international release (probably for it technically being a religious refference), but Wario's "oh my god" line ended up being replaced by "Doh I missed".

I once read somewhere that you can actually role higher numbers in one of tge gc mario party games by hitting the dice at the highest point. I'm not sure if that's true, pls. Look into that if you're doing a part 2 of mario party myths. And pls. Invite zoomzike, he's like the godfather of mario party knowledge

No, the cpus cheating is entirely proven. There have been many recorded instances of higher level cpus seemingly randomly choosing to waste a special dice block, to land on a unsuspecting blue space, just for it, to be a hidden block. They are part of the game and thus know exactly, where the hidden dice are at all times. However, when or why they chose, to suddenly "find" the hidden block seems to have a certain requirement to it. None the less, knowing where something is, that you aren't supposed to know counts as cheating. There's probably other ways, they subtly do so.
