Infiniti G37S - Convertible Top Operation

A short video to show the hard top operation..... one of the coolest features of this car. Video was shot on a windy day, thus the annoying sound. Recorded on 01/29/2011 at Crockett Park in Brentwood, Tennessee.

I took a stop watch to your Peugeot system and came up with 28.5 seconds from down to up.... and then I timed my video of the G37S and my stopwatch shows 25.8 seconds..... and you say the G37 is too slow? The video I used was by Dalton Shackelford 2012 MY Peugeot convertible. For the record, the Infiniti G37 convertible won a 5 star rating by J.D. Power & Associates.

Not sure if it was because i haven't used the convertible top button on my G37 all winter until summer, but my car is stuck. The beeping noise of the top is a non stop beeeeeeeep sound, but the convertible top itself has not moved. The Odometer just reads roof in operation when in fact its not moving. Only the windows rolled down. I'll have the Service team at Infiniti take a look at it. At least the roof is not stuck half way open or anything like that. Could Temperature be a cause and effect of this?

I used to have a G37s Coupe... and you are right, it was a bit faster.... the convertible weighs about 400 pounds more. Also, I think the car drives tighter with the regular roof due to overall rigidness of a built in roof when compared to a removable roof. With all this being said, I'd still prefer the convertible. Different strokes for different folks. :-)

To rrange: I've not had that problem with mine, not a drop of water leaking anywhere. I would highly recommend having the dealer look at it. Also, I would advise shooting a video of it as it happens with your cell phone and then showing the service department. Infiniti service excels, so you shouldn't have any problem getting this resolved.

I have a 2010 Infiniti G37S Convertible, I love the car, its an amazing/fast convertible to drive..but the damn car won't stop leaking water on the drivers side window and drivers side convertible top. Has anyone had this problem??

I've had water leak on passenger side window but very little. I have a 2013 tho.

In time the rubber seals will leak in any convertible due to age. Unless you keep the car indoors at all times and barely drive it, it’s bound to happen

most likely you can, but there would be significantly less space

It's a 2009 model.... but it was built in 2010.
