Infiniti Q50 How Low Can You Go | Slammed my Q50 and RUINED my fenders!

2 жыл бұрынI loved the look of the Q50 lowered about 2.5" lower than factory height, but it just was not practical. Front tires rubbed, and I scrapped every time I left my driveway--and it's NOT that steep lol. I've been in search of the "perfect" ride height that will give me a nice stance and optimize handling without being a pain to drive on a daily basis.
I think I found it in this video!
And NO, I'm not getting bags. I do not want the added weight and I would never be in need of the aired-out look.

I’ve been chasing my coilover dampening settings for months and finally gave up until today. Thanks for sharing your settings. I’ll be giving them a shot to see how they feel.

Thanks for the help. I had a hard time getting my Q50 low enough to have a hard time getting into parking lots. Now I just have to roll out my fenders. Your back end is to high. -2.5 isn't practical for me. I need -2.7

My back end is too high? No. My fitment and right height is perfectly dialed for the purposes of the car. Slight rake is best. If you go low simply to go low, you lose practicality and functionality. Ride height in this video is not where the car actually ended up.

@@artemiscool67 yes the stock suspension just can't handle track abuse especially repeated track abuse. I need to invest in this car to really get the max out of it

i have a 1 finger gap up front and in the rear i’m pretty low can’t see the top of my treads at all and i’ve found this to be perfect hardly ever rub only when i’m being carless i’ve only rubbed on the fender while turning maybe twice

A 1 finger gap is probably the way to go. That’s about wheee I was before lowering further.

Have you rolled your fenders at all usually use stance guys we roll them so that the fenders do get any contact when lowering the vehicle

Really depends on wheel and tire setup. I can barely get a finger tip in the rear. Check out my last fitment video

Hello Speedculture studios, I still have my stock 19 inch wheels which have 50 + offset, do u think since my offset is higher, I have a less chance of rubbing my fender? Because I really love the height at 2.5 inch lowered.

You’ll have axel issues with awd. People have gone with Q70 axels but still not sure you can go super low with them

Awd has problems when lowered. Could be right away or could make it a long time. Just never know

If you're going to drive that low you will need to do stretch tires and/or negative camber.

Yeah I raised 1/4” in the front. 4:48 and 8:20 It’s about 26 3/16”
