I feel like the shot of Loki handing over the teserack isn’t him betraying Thor but maybe it’s him bargaining for Thor’s life when thanos is about to kill him( the shot from him squeezing Thor’s hand) and that’s how thanos gets it.

I can imagine , Loki being surrounded by the Black order and he sees Thor in Thanos clutches and Thanos slowly applies pressure crushing Thor”s head as he yells in pain . Thanos monologues to Loki that he will kill Thor if he doesn’t have what he needs Loki tells Thanos to stop as he slowly lifts up his hands showing the tessasract

In the comics, Thor has a Stormbreaker from some dwarfs. Now Peter Dinklage was announced he will be in Infinity War, so maybe he'll play this dwarf who make a Stormbreaker for Thor.

2 things I got from this... 1. I think Loki hands the Tesseract to Thanos AFTER he squeezes Thor’s head. My thoughts, Thanos tortures Thor after Loki plays dumb about having the Tesseract, then in a moment of redemption, Loki gives up the Tesseract to save Thor. 2. No way Cap could drink the Heart Shaped herb. It poisons anyone who isn’t part of the Wakandan Royal bloodline.

I am guessing that Thor refuse to hand over the Tesseract and Thanos beat him within a inch of his life. Hence that scene with Thanos hand over Thor head. Loki play ball with Thanos to only preform his final act of betrayal. By getting close enough to the Tesseract/space gem/transporter to save Thor by sending him away. Which will cost Loki his life, but he would've die protecting his brother. Which is ironic and just Loki style.

Maybe...that's not Captain America at all. It could be Vision disguised as Captain America That would explain why he is that strong and the tint of yellow we see in Cap's eyes as he struggles to hold off the gauntlet.

Cap holding his own against Thanos seems to be a contest of wills, not strength. In close quarters touching the gauntlet,Cap's will to save lives is the only way he can match Thanos's desire to take lives.At the moment Cap touches the gauntlet there seems to be a momentary stalemate in controlling the power of the Infinity stones.

I just realized that the theory of each of the stones being found do spell out thanos.... T- tesseract H- gamora A-aether N-necklace O- orb S-secpter ...the reason I put gamora for H is because thanos had to sacrifice his "heart" to obtain the soul stone ...hence it still spells his name!!!!

The Avenger That Just might be flying under radar in the war against Thanos is The Scarlet Witch. Check out the scene near the end of Age of Ultron when she senses that her brother just died and completely wiped out all of Ultron’s minion robots with one blast of her grief stricken rage! If Thanos injured or kills enough of her friends, she could have a similar episode and wipe out most of his Army too. She does not seem to know the full extent of her own powers and perhaps Dr. Strange could mentor and train her to master all of it!

Scarlet Witch, definitely. Doctor Strange could sense Odin, Thor, and Loki, but is not aware of Wanda's power at all, strongly indicating that it is indeed Chaos Magic. The Other, who may have made Loki forget he had lost the scepter (deleted scene of Avengers), may have been an avatar/spy for Chthon. Agamotto destroyed all knowledge of Chaos Magic, thus Strange and the sorcerers are completely unaware of Scarlet Witch. No one knows of the existence of Chaos Magic, certainly not Thanos. Only Chthon and Shuma Gorath have mastered this ancient art, and Wanda Maximoff is the only mortal being in the entire universe who can wield it. Vision represents Order, Scarlet Witch represents Chaos. "Perfectly Balanced."

Actually Strange didn't sense any of them. In the infinity war prelude comic pt 2 (Canon in MCU), a mirror in the sanctum showed Loki and Thor's arrival as they are beings of significance from another world. Wong even had to bring it to Strange's attention.

Well it'll end up that thanos doesn't know where it is only Loki does. He's the god of mischief right? So he'd be able to hide it pretty well. He's definitely exchanging it for Thor's life, and I'm guessing thanos kills Loki too, maybe makes Thor watch who knows.

I'm actually hoping they do kill off Loki to set the stage for his rebirth and God of Stories transformation. His character deserves a standalone film and I can't think of a more fitting story arc than him learning to use his manipulative trickster nature for good. Just give us a post credit teaser so we're not left thinking he is gone.

I can see this. Esp since Adam Warlock isn’t going to be an essential character. Scarlet Witch does draw her power from the mind stone, just like how Adam Warlock drew his power from the soul stone, so that element of having some sort of feel/relationship with the stone is there. I can also see Banner + Vision playing some sort of the role that silver surfer had in the comics with him crashing into the sanctorum & Vision already openly wondering how the stone works + what kind of power it wields when he expressed it during Civil War. Just going to be curious who will “take” the gauntlet from Thanos...Wanda, Banner, Vision, Loki, or Nebula?
