In this video I am going to tell you a story and explain what 'Extreme' Extroverted Feeling is and how Empathy and the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) is not an MBTI cognitive function and is only behavioral. The amazing part is how all this got attached to the INFJ. It is wrong and I look forward to all the hate and the comments that show me that I am not alone in my view. - Marty

The fact that there are minimal views with no one's real interest in this stuff truly explains why we are less than 1% of the world's population, great stuff Marty, a breath to know I am not alone and many of my questions finally answered after 55 years..

Always doing my best and that is the single hardest thing to understand yet I do not want the channel huge for if it is the depth will be lost to those who do not belong yet doesn't everybody really truly belong? I am sure you see my problem. TYWC - Marty

Wow. Well done in explaining this. I get it exactly and see this applied in my life all the time. Great example Marty! Example: I have been a registered nurse for 25 years. And exactly what you just did is what I do over and over and over for the health care system. I have even created an ideal job in my mind, a patient advocate, where I literally mentally walk weak sick patients and their overwhelmed families thru the health care system from inpatient to outpatient. I see intuitively the process that most people are lost from the start. I would create better patient outcomes by ensuring the doctors, the specialists, the patients and families, the pharmacist, the nutritionist, the physical therapist, all the diagnostic testing, every moving part of the team is coordinated and aligned and EVERYONE wins and I walk away warm and fuzzy that I made such an incredible impact on so many…and with ease because I see the process like I wrote it myself,,,and recognition comes in the form of appreciation and salary and beautiful life experiences.

For the love, of all holy grails!!! I have tried to explain this multiple times to people when dealing with my ex. Narc piece of destroyers of eternal value,light, and me showing up while dealing with split custody, and absolute unlawful never caught total BS,(another story) and sending food, buying things for kids, and making sure the kids are OK is the only goal, the rest doesn't matter complete disconnect. Not only is it the right thing to do, its being true to my damn self, and honoring my children, period. It breaks your damn mind at times, but you've nailed it Marty, time an time again. Thanks for sharing!!

You are welcome... Thank you for the supportive words. TYWC - Marty * For the comment section: You know how this is easy for me. It is the haters I have trouble with and the most amazing thing is this: How would I know all this and with such detail? If you guessed because I have been both sides... OMG!!! Guess what? You are fuck'n 100% right. LOL How come people do not get that and understand that? I am a complete Borderline Narcissistic Psychopathic man who made a choice to find his inner child, heal and fix the relationship with my Mom. I made a clear choice. At 45 I made a choice and it was that choice and it IS as simple as that. How can anybody come to this realization? Easy!! Look in the fucking mirror at yourself and ask this question and fuck everybody on this planet. Are you happy? Truly happy? You cannot say YES if you are fighting and destroying everyone around you. It is impossible to say yes. What is the truth? You are simple a scared human being who knows the pain that rests inside your soul and you are just simply too scared to face it. It is that simple. Why am I writing this? Because Scorpz Corpz said this: "...but you've nailed it Marty, time an time again. Thanks for sharing!!" I nail it because I was both and I cared enough. MBTI helped me and it allowed me to see things that confused me. But what it did mostly was allowed me to care about how people act and how I act. You cannot be a "Borderline Narcissistic Psychopathic" and do that at the same time. It is a journey and there is no magic door or window. There are hundreds of doors and windows you must walk through or look through for the answers but to be scared? That is an excuse you might want to reconsider. Just a thought. ok, I am done. LOL ;) TYWC - Marty

You are right, this isn’t empathy, not for the stepfather. I completely relate to everything you say. At the same time I’d argue there is more. I think the anger you carry, and possibly because of being male, is keeping you from seeing beyond. I had to work so completely hard to forgive key people in my life. I had to learn what forgiveness even meant or felt like. I’m 52 and can finally feel a calm or peace inside that had never been there before. I am an INFJ, not mistyped. I am an empath as well. I’m aware these days of feeling others’ emotions to the point of them affecting my entire day. Once I became aware of this, I started practices that help me to figure what emotions are mine and which ones aren’t. Otherwise I walked around much of my life reacting to the mess of others. If you really meant it when you say you want me to unsubscribe, then I will. I find it sad that you would limit yourself that way all in the name of being able to hold your anger.

This right here: "I am an empath as well." If you look at the cognitive functions of the INFJ being: Dominant Introverted Intuition with Extroverted Feeling Zero Si and Se and very limited Ti and Te and almost zero Fi... That is your empathy that you are seeing and or better said: "Feeling" When you separate the Cognitive Functions of the MBTI study (Jung) from the Empath or the feeling of Empathy you create another cognitive function and that is where your comment is coming from while my video is coming from a united place and supporting it with the cognitive functions. Does that make more sense if I did not say that in the video and say it this way now? TYWC - Marty

OMG Marty I get this completely! Its’s our ability to compartmentalize for the sake of our loved ones despite our true blood feelings. I have a similar experience of feeling for a parents spouse but for the sake of the my loved ones that this person has shown generosity, l have bent backwards graciously for that person when l did not have to. We put our heartfelt feelings aside for the win win of the situation! Is this a blessing or a curse??!!

Well Nancy. You know, the true nature of that brown sugar. :) Nothing like it and combined with a little southern charm and a solid sense of spirituality... Well... You and I both know that is one awesome combination. For me at the end of each and every day, do not ask me what day it is, It is a blessing Nancy. Always a blessing but it feels like a curse because it takes so long to realize it or get over it and the win / win you are creating; Maybe it is the lack of 'Thank you' that causes it or the truth in know the other person will leave this earth without ever know it. I am not sure why but I think it is somewhere between love and hate. We both know how fine line that line can be and sometimes it gets a lot finer when we have to deal with the fingers that are point back at us and unfortunately there are 2 - 3 of them and not just the one. It sure as hell feels like a curse as shit like this seems to happen to us alot where we have to step up and be the bigger person emotionally because it's a selfless act and being selfish is not an INFJ trait. I understand how it tears you up dealing with this but for the better for Sis, mom and the one we shall not speak of it can bring you peace knowing you used your abilities to help your sister. That is why we keep doing it. It's good you can vent about it on here too so it helps release it from eating yourself up. This is a good thing. You get no gratification from it but you know mom and sis will forever know and be thankful. You are not alone. Having our abilities to figure out solutions to situations in the end is a gift. It just takes us some pondering release and thought to realize the good of our doing. Thanks for sharing

You are welcome and yes, I agree with you. I am thankful I can do the videos so I can get it out. If it helps someone...great, if not, that is okay too. In the end it is an experience and might touch on MBTI as I shared. Take it or leave it; free will defines us. TYWC - Marty

@@marty_glenn it did help. I do this sort of thing often. Using my creativity to help out a situation that only helps others and can involve people I hate but don't wish this suffering I have been through on anyone. It makes me realize this is an INFJ way of doing things and most people would never understand the depth and strength that goes behind having to do things like this.

You're right on the money with this one Marty, I understand exactly what you're saying. That is Fe and a great example of it. Empathy has nothing to do with it nor does Si. The Fe you feel (and me) is like a MUST DO! Like we have no say in the matter. This shits me to tears at times but it's agonising if I don't! I'm really enjoying your channel Mate keep it up!

Marty, some mothers are not as nurturing as others. You need to learn about her past to learn history as a child to learn how she became her true personality. I once loved my mother but not when she throws me under the bus so many times I cannot stand her due to her thieving, cheating, lying, and misused my feelings to get what she wants from me. I would never ever behave as my mother does with me or my sisters. I stayed to help my sisters and later learned it was a mistake. What I was doing is being co-dependent which is a problem I had but no longer because I won't go through helping people that only want what they can from me. What they see - is a person who has survived so they feel I can cough up money like I have money available to give and why I refused to be around those that should be responsible for their actions and learn to deal with their problems. I know it contradicts my INFJ but there many facets to me which is hard to understand as I once said, "I'm a work in progress" to be a better person in this world of ours.

Great comment yet a little harsh on me since you know i have discussed all of this across many videos but again, I get it and do understand your comment. With that said... Are you really taking ONLY ONE of my videos and slamming on me regarding this huge topic and the issues within your life expressed inside this comment? Really? No you are not; but yes, you are. Watch more of my videos and you will come to this conclusion: "You are wrong. You need to get your head on straight. You need to set solid healthy boundaries. You need to get your Mom away from you permanently until she learns the same as you do but in an inverse way." TYWC - Marty

Marty I have a question maybe you could help me with. Do you think INFJ have faster reflexes? I can catch things that fall without even looking at things sometimes. Or being able to dodge or catch things better or faster then others? Having heightened intuition maybe that helps us have better reflexes? Do you and others agree? Just curious. Thank you.
@marty_glenn
@marty_glenn 3 жыл бұрын
Yes. Here is why? Reflexes are not sensing when they are needed in fractions of a second. They are believe it or not: intuition So when an object is falling, and it needs to be caught, what is faster? The site (sensing) of the object falling , what to do about it and the act of doing it. Intuition is step 1and 2 combined so actually the INFJ skips 1 of 3 steps and that is obviously fractions of a second faster. Make sense? TYWC - Marty

@@marty_glenn makes complete sense. I did it again today and the lady behind me was so surprised because I wasn't even looking at the object that was falling and I grabbed midair. The more I learn about INFJ abilities the more my life makes sense. I am so glad I found your site. Those others that claim to be INFJ sites and have a clan following to me kind of goes against being an INFJ. So keep on keeping it real and the ones who truly understand will stick around. Thanks for not confirming yourself to get more views. We need real, blunt people like you to keep making videos. We don't listen to fake people anyways. Lol. Have a great weekend.

This is why I am an "empath" and H.S.P because of people that will touch me a certain way - I get a certain feeling about them. It isn't BS because I almost fainted when someone at church held my hand - my knees bend as if I was about to collapse. It took one of the men from the church to help me get water. I don't like touching people's hands most of the time. Another incident happens when I was at a nursing home to visit several of the elderly and saw a young girl and touched her shoulder but she grabbed my hand. She wouldn't let go of my hand that scared me. I later had a problem where I became her in a distorted fashion since she was a cripple in a wheelchair. Scary - doesn't begin to tell you how frightened and said the Lord's Prayer to get back to release my body that was distorted and got back to normal?

Angela... I have read each and every comment you have placed within my comment section. I appreciate that but I would do this if I were you... Study the cognitive functions of young and become an expert in the difference between 'Behavioral MBTI' and 'Cognitive Function MBTI'. I do believe that will help you and also, please keep in mind that I answer every comment and many of your comments are just not related to the deep meaning of my channel but just you giving a soft opinion of the deepness of the MBTI / Jung cognitive functions or behavioral meanings of personality types. I am going to send this comment to all your other comments so when they come through in a few minutes please know why. If you are confused or wondering: "Empathy and Sympathy are not within the INFJ MBTI cognitive functions and I am not sure you truly understand why that is and believe it." TYWC - Marty

Marty that isn't a true person doing a generous act. He is acting a part to irritate you and to show you up. He is a devious AH. Just like my mother's 4th husband -who gambled our home and lost it as well as our family car. Talk about deadbeat men I never wanted them around me! He tried to abuse me and never want him around but saw his face and bottom tooths were missing and believe "Karma" got even and he was in jail and was used by other males in prison. I wasn't happy about it but he deserves what he got!

This is that extreme Marty been trying to let every viewer understand......doesnt matter what personality type this is real life in real time......how do handle emotions/actions needed/what kinda help that is most benifcial..... Soooo..... lets slow it down in real time.....Ask big bro how extreme was that in real time.....i would say from seeing a problem about that step.....he already figure a plan.....and walking 3-4 steps later....he knows how to sacrifices needed to be made for the greater good..... Ok.... next point.....why Marty keep saying this is extreme....this is that curse....Marty isnt a builder by trade. ...not a professional contractor....that that extreme ...in realtime saw a problem as an opportunity to finess into somerhing everyone wins..... In realtime 3-4 steps thought for mom...stepdad.....sister and brother in law.....i promise if anyone gets to experience these extremes in realtime its very unnatural..... 1 why should you care for someone who dont care about you....(Thats that curse he carry everyday).....unnatural because nobody thats qualities you see in heros....Sacrificing self for free.... 2 Now certain people cannot letgo whatever they just is unnatural....so they start to think how the hell he took a problem and treated like its somerhing so simple to fix.....im just gonna stop at this.....(try that empath function and relate to Marty) Its a curse because he knows its unnatural for him.....its somerhing he dont want to do but cannot whyyyyyyyy!!!!! Everyday....whyyyyyy!!!! That one is for me😂😂😂😂😂😂
