i would like to see a video talking about the difference of the cheaper inflateable paddleboards vs the more exepensive ones. maybe like $200 vs 400 vs $800

Love our cheap inflatables for chilling in the water and our second hand rigid boards for milage. Best of both worlds and at good prices used 😊

I would love to see a review or recommendations on inflatable fishing kayaks as portability and storage is my issue.

Awesome job Dan - there is no perfect board, so figuring out the features/benefits of each type of board that fit the needs of the paddler is what’s important. Appreciate your perspectives!

I see alot of these on the water I started kayaking this yr and it's now it's an every weekend thing love it I got in my mind that before buying one that I didn't want the most primary stability I wanted to grow some

Interesting... our son's new inflatable paddleboard lasted 2 trips. Had to be returned after it sprung a leak. I got on it too...it was surprisingly hard on the top...but I think he's gonna be a hard board guy next.

I've got a BOTE Rackham hard board and couple inflatable BOTE HDs. The inflatables are great loaner boards for friends and family, very durable. About the only time I'll use an inflatable anymore is an area where I have long portage. I agree about convenience...even with an electric pump the inflatables take a while to inflate. Most people will also have deflate them and store them dirty until they can wash them back at home. A lot of the time I'll just inflate the iSUPs at home and transport them inflated to save time/convenience.

Do you feel like there’s a point to having the inflatables if you’re transporting them inflated? I’ve found myself in a similar situation with inflatables a few times. Just makes me feel like I should be using my hard board.

@@HeadwatersKayak Just durability and storage, really. It's pretty convenient not to have to worry about someone accidentally dropping a hardboard off the truck onto the pavement, or worry about a hardboard getting scratched up on the roof rack. By myself, I'll just be more careful and always opt for the hardboard. For someone like kids or beginners, inflatables just take the abuse pretty well. I guess storage too. We've also got two rotomolded kayaks and a canoe, so I can't imagine having to find places for another couple hardboards.

I’m having a difficult time choosing a sup brand. There really is no distinction between sup company’s. I’m definitely going epoxy. Why greyduck? It’s a beautiful board, is there something better about greyduck than other brands? Thank you!

Lookn for paddle board for wife. She wants to just cruise out and sun bath on. Thinkn inflatable. We have a house on a lake so storage and moving isn’t issue. What u think is most comfy?

Hey Dan, I purchased a 5th wheel trailer and need to buy an inflatable kayak for camping trips. My daily kayak is an Eddyline Skylark, so I’m use to a fast boat. Any recommendations on an inflatable? So far it seems the Sea Eagle Razorlite 393RL. I have looked at racks over my cap and front end of my truck but don’t really like that idea. Any thoughts, or other ideas I not considering?

I’m testing the Aquaglide Chelan 140, it’s pretty nice. I still think the Sea Eagle is a little sleeker

I want to fish on the water. I have narrowed it down to lifetime tamarack or a California board company hydro 10.6 What are your thoughts on fishing with either I am a novice. Have a chance to buy the paddle board at sam's club for $160 Thank you

Thanks!!. Been doing some research and I’m very interested in the Caribbean 12sf. :-) Hoping to get by a shop, Lodi, or Kayak City in Sac soon to see one in person. :-) and talk about some lessons.
