Breathe deeply and relax, so sorry for your trouble dear Julia. In asserting Sovereignty these things are likely to happen, much less so if they're nipped in the bud with a prior Courtesy Notice sent to the all the relevant corporate fictions, courts, police, bailiffs if known, and keep copies that have been signed as have been recieved or a legible postmark and copy signed by the postmaster confirming an accurate copy was sent, registered mail and not a blank piece of paper!! Again, learn the words and what to do and more importantly what not to do or say in their presence. Very important as they're all very sneeky, by standing on Sovereignty you threaten their livelihood based on lies & decipt! Love to you both as always xxx

I also stated at the time that one of my granddaughters was doing a project at college on police bullying . The one of the officers who I had demanded to be there did not intimidate me at all and was a big man and I argued when he admitted swearing to my then young grandson that he should have been setting an example . I was furious ! There is more to this story and he also did something he should not have done ! There are many police bullies about and I have witnessed 2 other times also ! Bailiffs and high court enforcement officers….. it’s a double edged sword in the world we live in. Several years ago I sold a hitachi digger for $35000, stupid me took a $5000 deposit as I knew the buyer. The buyer then did not pay the balance as promised and became the scarlet pimpernel. For a year I tried and tried to engage and recover money owed to me. I went down the debt collection agency road even though I had a dislike of debt collection agents. To cut a long story short the “high court writ” and the enforcement officers got me the money that I was owed. So as I say it’s a double edge sword. As I could not carry the loss of $30000. But I do not agree with their tactics

Well, yes, exactly. How else are you supposed to prevent someone from robbing you? I find that the law is, in general, much more on the side of the debtors. What were the other options of getting your money back and what pushed you down the debt agency road? Genuine question - not a position I would like to be in myself and in some circumstances they do serve their purpose. It's a different matter when the boot is on the other foot and very much a double edged sword.

@@NothingByHalves I had tried and tried to reason with the buyer, I had even offered to take the machine back. But they just stopped communicating, what was really frustrating and would send me into a frenzy. I would see that machine working on various building sites around my locality. Twice I attempted to to get it back, but was thwarted by the police actually that told me it would theft and was a civil matter that “they couldn’t help with”. Thirty thousand quid was going to be a lot of money to lose, so hence the civil action through bailiffs etc to recover my money. The lesson learned by me “only take full payment and do not realise the goods until funds have cleared, regardless of who the person is and even if you think they are credit worthy. It will surprise you how many charlatans are out there. It will only get worse if people think they can get away with out paying for goods and services.

@@SamtanKorito Was there an opportunity to take civil action directly? Or is it a case of not feeling knowledgeable enough to handle that yourself? Not judging - these things need to be properly done. In this instance, with the use being right under your nose, bringing in a bit of muscle is very useful. That's really what they should be there for as your claim is valid - the distinction being that many of the claims made by the corporations aren't valid and the police are happy to assist them in a civil action when is effectively a crime and they are there to keep the peace. And yes, there are a lot of charlatans out there, sadly, who are happy to rip off their fellow man. I'm glad you got your money back.

Poor Julia. How disgusting that they harmed her physically. Monsters!😥 My Bank mis-sold me on a high interest loan, I wanted a re-mortgage because in 2012 interest rates were very low. But the Bank said I could not afford the re-mortgage. Total lie. I ended up paying £600 for the rip off loan and approx £300 for the existing mortgage totalling £900. I felt trapped as our daughter has Asthma and the damp needed fixing. There is no way on earth the remortgage would have come to £900 as my mortgage was very low and I only wanted 15,000. The Financial Ombudsman is also corrupt and sides with the corrupt Banks. The Financial Ombudsman is currently under investigation. My Bank has destroyed my amazing credit history. Thank you everyone for supporting those in need. ♥️

saleable commodities" = goods goods (n.) "property," late 13c., from plural of good (n.), which had the same sense in Old English. Meaning "saleable commodities" is mid-15c.; colloquial sense of "stolen articles" is from 1900; hence figurative use, "evidence of guilt."

I've been following your channel for over a year now and I like some of your videos more than others. Some or just too funky for my taste and so are some of your guests. But nevermind that, what I don't understand in this and the previous video, the way you present it, it sounds debt collectors showed up at lovely Julia's door out of the blue. Does she (or her ex) owe the money? Has it been dragging on for some time, were there letters and reminders urging her (or the ex) to pay? One would think these are crucial considerations when it comes to something like this. Please enlighten us as I would really love to know what's going on.

I can't comment on this particular case because I don't have the details. However, generally speaking, there would be no need for bailiffs if people paid their debts. Sadly, many folk don't do so, thinking that if they just ignore bills, they will go away. Bailiffs do not just turn up out of the blue and start removing people's belongings. They are a last resort after a lengthy legal process that takes several months. During that time, people are given ample opportunity to contest the debt, if for example it was issued in error or if the goods or services supplied were faulty etc. But what so often happens is that people ignore all correspondence from the creditor, his solicitors and finally the court. Then they get a shock when bailiffs finally turn up and remove goods to pay for the debt. Furthermore, if it gets to that stage, the amount owed will have mushroomed to pay for the fees of the court, solicitor and bailiffs. So yes, there are lessons to be learnt as claimed in the video. Firstly, if you owe someone money, then pay up. Don't just hope that they will give up, because if they decide to pursue it, it will cost you a lot more. Secondly, if you don't owe someone money or if the goods or services were faulty and so you believe the bill is unjustified, then again, don't just ignore things. Reply to correspondence explaining your position but whatever else you do or don't do, you must TURN UP for any court hearing and explain your position. If you fail to turn up, then the court has no clue that you don't believe the bill is justified, so the court will automatically rule in favour of the claimant. Then you've only got yourself to blame if bailiffs knock on your door.
