Every 2 weeks is definitely worth the wait. I personally prefer the full flights, but as long as the quality of the videos is that good, I will always be looking forward to the next video, no matter if it's a full flight or just an approach or departure.

Frankly, I'm amazed you've kept up with one video a week at all, along with actually flying. These videos are a treat, and an honour for you to allow us to come along with you. I've learned an enormous amount from them.

Hi Stefan. Firstly, I think it is important that you have a private life to enjoy!! The content you bring is fantastic for we avgeeks and flight simmers but, of course, not to the detriment of your off duty time!! For me, all options work. Just arrivals and departures, full flights with or without briefings. I particularly like new destinations to add to your existing collections. So, for me, maybe a mixture. So full flight say every two months to allow editing work with a mix of departure/arrivals in between aiming to increase the previously unseen airports. Lastly, if the airline and staff allow, a focus on some other roles such as Cabin crew, Dispatcher maybe. Keep up the excellent work. Regards, Keith

Content mit An- und Abflug reicht mir total (so heißt ja auch Dein Kanal). Sollte mal jeden 2. Monat ein Video auf Deutsch oder Fullflight dabei sein, so freue ich mich immer besonders darüber. Es muss ganz sicher nicht jede Woche ein Fullflight-Video sein, das geht ja auch nur auf Kurzstrecken. Daher bin ich der Meinung, lieber jede Woche einen Anflug oder Abflug wie bisher, Du genießt Dein Leben und überraschst uns unregelmäßig mit einem Fullflight- oder Behind the Scenes- Content. Good Morning Captain, I really enjoy the long videos the most. At least to have a good share of them. And if they will get even more complex like you mentioned (for example with the initial crew briefing) that would be superb. For my side of course the scenic approaches and departures are nice eye candy, however what i am even more interested in are the airbus and above all the eurowings SOPs! When scrolling through the comment section of your video i get the impression, that a lot of viewers use your videos to improve their flight simulation. Thank you so much for all the effort you put into this channel and your videos and sharing all these moments with us!

Ich habe diesen Channel erst vor weniger Wochen entdeckt und bis jetzt (nach dem Abo versteht sich) alle(!) Video nachgeholt. Als jemand, der den Beruf aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nicht ergreifen konnte und so seiner Leidenschaft nur über den Simulator (MSFS seit 2004, Vatsim) nachkommen kann, sind die Videos ein absolutes Geschenk. Sie nehmen einen mit in eine wundervolle Welt, in ein reales Cockpit. Ich bin dankbar für jedes Video, egal wie lang es ist. Full Flight Videos sind mein persönlicher Favorit, da sie einen nochmals stärker in den Realismus und den Alltag als Pilot ziehen. Wenn das bedeutet, dass es das nur alle 2 oder 4 Wochen gibt, dann ist das auch völlig fein. Ich nehme einfach freudig was kommt :)

Long or short, whatever is more convenient to fit in your schedule: I love and will watch both. I've learned so much about the pilot's tasks before, during and after a flight, next best thing to actually sitting in the jump seat! And the views from the flightdeck are sometimes breathtaking, thank you!

So many things to watch on KZfaq that I have barely the time to see them all. So I would appreciate the short ones 😀.However I like so much what you do that I will surly follows you whatever is your décision.

Both styles are superb. To be honest I often find it difficult to find the time to watch in full the full flight ones personally speaking. Not to detract from the appreciation of longer videos. I really enjoyed watching the FO set up the MCDU a few months back. And you did a walk around video which was great. I always love a pre flight briefing video. I look forward to whatever the channel brings. It’s all great. Thanks to you and your airline, in a world that’s seems to be making it harder, if not impossible for other crews to produce such content at other carriers.

Hello Stefan, a big thank you for taking your posts so serious as I feel your dedication on producing them and sharing your world 😃 I prefer the longer videos, but in that circumstances I would prefer once a month a longer video, and the others than short! Curious to see as many destinations as possible! Also would be interesting to see a „what is happening when I arrive at airport, initial briefing for the day, setup from cold and dark“. Perhaps also a video during the turn-around time a destination, so from shutting down the engines after arrival to next departure. Stefan, I love everything you produce with your crews. It matters not whether they are long or short, I watch them all. However, the only person who can really make this call is you! A large percentage of subscribers would have no idea how long it takes in post processing to produce these awesome videos, my guess is maybe 2 or 3 times longer than the actual flight. Just do what you can manage to do with the time you have available. I am sure that most of your subscribers will accept your decision and continue to enjoy your channel. Many thanks! ✈

Hello captain, First of all I would like to thank you for all the hard work you are putting into these videos. For me, it is invaluable experience to see all the work in the cockpit. Editing is fantastic, with chart overlays, display recording as well as flight computer states during briefing. And having all those timestamps is super convenient. As for the video format, I am fine with either way. I like both short and full flights videos. With this level of editing, it is understandable that longer videos take much more time so. If it's beneficial for KZfaq algorithm to, maybe full flight ones could be split weekly. Like Week 1 - Full flight (Part 1), Week 2 - Full Flight (Part 2). Once again, thank you very much for all the work for producing these lovely videos!

Thanks for giving us a channel update, your dedication to this channel is remarkable. Can I just say that I very much enjoy the longer videos, but I also understand that they take longer to produce. If I may give some unsolicited advice however, I think having some of the shorter videos posted is good for the growth of the channel, and I believe KZfaq’s algorithm cares about the watch-time of a given video-i.e. KZfaq preferentially promotes videos which have a higher percentage of which are watched. I think many people probably don’t watch all of the longer videos, which impacts this metric. So I think having a good mix of shorter videos which most people watch completely to boost watch-time, while having occasional longer videos to show the lesser noticed parts of flight would be good. Once again, I appreciate all that you’re doing for us.

I think it is entirely up to you, Stefan, as you are a family man first and foremost, a working line pilot and then a KZfaq content creator. Strictly in that order. Personally I will be more than happy and satisfied to watch whatever you choose to upload. A suggestion: Even though the departure/approach phases are the busiest (and possibly the most interesting parts of any flight) full flight videos certainly immerse the viewer in the whole flight experience. May I suggest that in the future you could include the actual planning stages of the flights whenever and if at all possible (captain/FO briefing in the flight dispatch office) along with a breakdown of the OFP and Wx briefing for the flight. Thank you for all your hard work!

Das ist doch kein Problem. Alle zwei Wochen, das ist doch der Hammer. Die Videos sind ja immer klasse, da kann man gerne warten. Kürzlich habe ich dein Video zum Anflug auf Hurghada angeschaut. War schon sehr cool, das aus der Cockpit-Perspektive zu sehen, nachdem man als Passagier auf Hurghada angeflogen ist. Vielleicht gibt es ja irgendwann ein Video zum Abflug aus Hurghada 🤩. Weiterhin viel Erfolg. Du machst das klasse. Bitte immer weitermachen.

Auf der einen Seite sind die Full Flights echt klasse und eine sehr schöne Ergänzung, wenn man gerade virtuell durch den Himmel fliegt, andererseits sind die kurzen Videos auch sehr schön! ABER, zur Not kann man auch einfach zu der Stelle skippen, die man sehen möchte, also würde ich doch eher die Full Flights bevorzugen! Vielen vielen Dank und allways 3 Greens!

Ich verfolge Ihre exzellenten Videos schon seit längerer Zeit, und finde sowohl die "kurze" Variante der An- und Abflugvideos perfekt geschnitten und zusammengesetzt, als auch die benannten längeren Varianten. Für mich persönlich ist also beides völlig okay, denn ich schaue so alle drei, vier Wochen bei Ihnen rein, um zu sehen, was es so Neues gibt ... 🙂 Gerne also weiter so, egal, zu welchem Zeitpunkt es neue Videos gibt. Completely understandable, especially with the rotas that airline pilots need to deal with. Your channel is consistently getting better over time and since I joined there were many things you've added that have been a great addition such as ND and PFD views for every flight, full flight videos etc. which clearly takes more editing time. If waiting two weeks instead of one means we get more full flight videos, then i'm personally all for it!

Ich persönlich würde einen Fullflight alle zwei Wochen ohne weitere Informationen, wie dem Briefing an der Station, bevorzugen. Damit habe ich im laufe von zwei Wochen gleich viele Starts und Landungen, aber diese sind immer zusammengehörig und der Reiseflug ist auch mit dabei. Das sehe ich als Mehrgewinn als nur Start und Landung. Vielen Dank für deine großartige arbeit und deinen Einsatz!

I’m more than happy to wait 2 weeks for a full flight, or with an arrival or departure on a weekly basis. I think it’s safe to say that the majority of your fans will be happy with whatever schedule fits best around your work and home life, we’ll stick with your channel whatever choice you make. We appreciate the effort that goes into making your videos and understand that we can’t have full flights every week. Captain, ALL of your content is informative, You do what you feel is best for YOUR channel, regardless I will continue watching 20 minute videos or 1 hour 20 minute videos! Thank you Sir for such interesting and informative content, more so as you have helped me when I watch you with certain aspects on programming and making inflight changes in the MCDU in Microsoft flight Simulator 2020. This is much more than you would get on other channels!

Who has ever produced an one hour video knows what a bunch of work this is. This is not your main job (otherwise there would be no videos at all). Your suggestion makes sense to me. On the other hand this interrupts my saturday morning standard procedure. So I would much appreciate a short notice whenever we have to wait one more week. I'm sure there will be a good mixture of shorter A&D videos and full flight eventually. Beside the "dramatic" A&Ds with full workload in short time, the long full flights show the other important tasks like checking ATIS, dicussing alternates and negotiating preferred FL or shortcuts with ATC. Both are informative and addictive. Keep on your good work and thanks so much!

Stephan, firstly can I say a big thank you for all the effort that you put into the channel. Not only the work of cpaturing the video in the first place but the way that you have improved it over time. The presentation style has got better and better - espcially showing the instrumtents as well as the cockpit views. So, thank you! In answer to your question, my personal preference is for the longer flights, and every two weeks is absolutely OK.

Hello Captain, thanks for asking us ! The perfect monthly frequency for me would be 3 week of arrival or departure video and 1 full flight on the last week ? But if it's one every 2 week, no problem, I know how time-consuming editing could be. We are already very lucky to have that qualitative content, and thanks again for that. Wish you the best.

As a Microsoft Flight Simulator jockey, I love watching and learning how it’s really done from you! I can live with whatever schedule works for you. The videos are so well done and so informative! My favorite videos are those of your flights in the U.S. but all your content is high quality and a gift to the community of aviation enthusiasts. Your publishing frequency does not really matter, you have a life, and whenever you have time to publish your videos they are certain to be appreciated.

Quality is much more important than quantity. However, I think your flight videos, whether full or partial, are of high quality and are worth looking forward to.

It's a pleasure watching your flights and I thoroughly enjoy watching. It doesn't matter at all whether they are every 2 weeks and is totally understandable. It would be very interesting to watch the pre departure briefing in the briefing room as you suggested on some videos. I think a mixture of shorter and longer videos would be good.

No problem, Herr Kapitän, I am sure that we all trust your judgement. We look forward to whatever you produce - it is always top quality. I am currently in a Boeing 737 simulator, trying to become proficient in more complex functions, like setting up the flight plan into the computer, calculating take-off trim, centre-of-gravity, fuel etc. Great fun.

I can wait two weeks for longer video including full flight. It was very good idea to start producing these videos. I've got only one request: some time ago I asked for possibility to include view of middle screens (ECAM etc.), especially during preparation to flight up to engines start. During this time they contain much more interesting information than PFD, so they could be showed alternatively. Maybe now it will be possible.

What I would love to see is some behind the scenes of flight planning, walk arounds, inside the cabin, your method of setting up the cameras and editing, plus how your schedule is put together by the company. Thank you for asking our opinion on this matter. Arrival and departure videos can be once a week. Departure videos up to 10,000 feet. Arrival videos seem reasonable starting from 20,000 feet. If you are going to prepare a full flight video including briefing, I think it should be once a month. Now that summer is coming, flights will be even more frequent. We must not forget that you are also a pilot and you need time to rest. I think you should make time for new destinations in new videos. I wish you pleasant and safe flights.

Firstly thank you for making these high quality videos. I can see from the earlier comments there is a mix of people who like the approach/departure only v's people who like a complete flight. Myself I quite enjoy the variation or mix of the two types, and also going to/from different locations, or departing/approaching on a different path/runway if its a location you have been to previously. In summary, I am happy with whatever you feel is best for you to manage. I can only imagine the time it takes to do all of this for us. Thank you.
