Hi Colin. The function has been available for quite some time. Did you purchase the tool from us? There may be clones on the market with incomplete functionality and low-grade hardware which can be tempting due to the low price but in the long run, it's not worth it. Calvin, who originally, kindly did the video review of the VD700, recently informed us of another one of our devices that was being sold at a fraction of the cost. Upon inspecting the hardware he found the two to be completely different. We advise buyers to purchase directly from us. My point was why has this fuel injector coding ability never been seen on video of this item.As this VD700 has been released over four years now.Also many problems with 1.6 tdi fuel injectors.So this functionality would have been good tp know by affected owners of these cars much earlier. So they could have a tool to overcome the need to re code new or reconditioned 1.6 and 2.0 tdi fuel injectors on VW/Audi Seat/Scoda. @@AlbionshireCarDiagnostics
