I mentioned this on your last Injustice video but I just wanted to give Jaby a small word of advice, if most of your existing knowledge of some of those characters is from the movies I really recommend forgetting about that because these games are more based on the comics whereas the movies take massive deviations from the source material. The stories of the Injustice games are mostly for fans with pre-existing knowledge of DC comics and assumes that you are already familiar with them.

In the comics, Doomsday was actually born during prehistoric times on Krypton. An alien scientist named Bertron conducted a series of cruel experiments on a humanoid infant in which it is killed over and over again until it evolved into Doomsday. I'm only saying this because Jaby was curious about Doomsday's origin.

And the dumbest part about the whole thing, is Burtrom had no idea what to do after succeeding. Then again, how can you kill something that doesn't need to eat, drink, sleep, breathe, or even have organs. Also, Doomsday remembers every time he died, and has an inate hatred of EVERYTHING THAT LIVES.

Solomon Grundy is more famously a Batman villain, but he goes toe to toe with Superman every now and then. His boss fight in the Arkham games was a lot of fun, the guy is massive

The limitation of Green Lanterns power is his imagination. “And Sparky makes 4!” Means that Black Adam (who makes sparks with lightning is the 4th character that Green Arrow has beaten.

You guys missed it, but when Joker said; "A Death in The Family" it was a reference to an iconic Batman comic that you should probably loook into cuz it gets pretty dark for the comment section. Just know that Joker is involved, lol. Also, in The New 52, Clark and Diana were also together and while it explored the aspect of two people of that stature being together pretty well, imo, there something that relationship lacked and it was the grounding element that Clark being with Lois brings. Clark and Diana tend to be portrayed as two gods being together while him and Lois feels like two people.

Solomon Grundy is a zombie of a guy named Cyrus Gold. He's shown up in a few cartoons like Justice League and some other shows like Stargirl.

Some info on the characters you weren’t familiar with: Doomsday - was created on a prehistoric krypton by an alien scientist named Bertron. They literally shoot out a baby into the unforgiving wasteland that was krypton, suck up what was left of it afterwards and then clone a new one and repeat the process until 40 years later, one baby survives and thrives int the wasteland. But somehow it’d been programmed at a genetic level to hate everything that lived, so Doomsday destroyed his creator, then went planet hopping, murdering thousands upon thousands until finally arriving on Earth where he fights and kills Superman for the 1st ever time in comics. Killer Frost - a super villainess with the rather unique ability (when it comes to freezing powers anyway) to convert heat energy into pure cold, and manipulate it - creating ice walls, icicles, ice beams etc Solomon Grundy - a former mobster from the 1930’s who died after running afoul of voodoo worshipping gangsters and whose body was dumped in Slaughter Swamp along with some Voodoo curses. Nearly a century later, the body of Solomon Grundy rises from Slaughter Swamp with super strength and durability. Because he’s a zombie he’s also nigh Unkillable, as he’ll always revive at some point even if you blow his head off or pulverise his body.

Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman are voiced by Kevin Conroy, Susan Eisenberg and George Newbern who are generally considered to be the definitive voices of those characters and had voiced them in the DCAU (DC Animated Universe) which is comprised of Batman The Animated Series, Batman Mask of the Phantasm, Batman and Mr. Freeze: SubZero, Superman The Animated Series, The New Batman Adventures, Batman Mystery of the Batwoman, Batman Beyond, Batman Beyond Return of the Joker, Static Shock, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. The story of Injustice is inspired by an episode of Justice League called "A Better World" where the Justice League fights another version of the Justice League from a different Earth.

George Newbern has a rival but in a good way. Tim Daly. There are people who legit confuse them as the same voice. And he did Superman: The Animated Series which you credited above with Newbern and some animated movies.

Great reaction CinePal! Solomon Grundy is a Batman super villain. He originally was a human called Cyrus Gold! I believe, he had crossed some mobsters during his era. So, they got rid of him and dumped his body into a polluted lake of muck in Gotham City. Where his body sunk to the bottom of it. Decades later he arose from the muck and the only thing he remembered was part of a nursery rhyme, which was "Solomon Grundy born on Monday." Hence the name. Just a brief history of Solomon Grundy! Keep going with your content especially, when reacting to video game cutscenes!

If you’ve gone and watched this much, maybe you should check out the cutscenes for Arkham Asylum. It’s pretty good. Another idea like that is either playing or watching some of the Telltale Games like their Batman games, Jurassic Park, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, or Guardians of the Galaxy. Telltale Games is like having interactive cutscenes. There’s a couple games like it from different studios like Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. Watching someone play a telltale games game can either be entertaining or boring. For telltale Guardians of the Galaxy I would recommend watching Zackscottgames playthrough. It’s weird and wacky and full of pep… but he actually makes a lot of good decisions in pathing in that one. Anyway it’s an idea and it could be another thing to do. Hope you look into it and give something or all of this a try. I think it could work for the both of you and as far as gaming goes, it an easy way of playing something you and Achara could get into for this channel.

Hi Cinepals!👋🏼 When Evil Superman says his DNA matches Bruce Wayne but his vitals are wrong, it was also mentioned it in Crisis on Two Earths, but they don't explain it in full detail. Lets say for example Superman meets a random duplicate of himself from a parallel earth and he uses his X-ray vision and see that his Duplicate's vital are reversed and his heart is on the wrong side, despite the duplicate's perspective. That is because parallel earths has been theorized to be mirrored worlds to our own. In comics, they took that theory and made it both figurative and literal.

4:48 I don't remember much. However, I know Doomsday is an experiment that these intergalactic scientists created. They were trying to create an ultimate lifeform. But, it kept failing. So, every time this created died, they kept taking its tissue samples, and tried again multiple times. They weren't aware that this creature was adapting, learning and getting stronger, and Doomsday was born. Causing chaos. That's all I can recall. Hope this helps 🙏🏽💪

Ah the origin of doomsday Jaby, it's interesting. Alien scientists attempted to create the ultimate lifeform because they were living on a brutal planet. They put a baby outside, and other aliens like xenomorphs killed it. They took its dna and cloned it, and then aliens killed it. They collected that dna and cloned it. The process repeated an endless amount of times, and the clone got stronger, and began to kill the aliens, still died a few times, but still the process repeated. Doomsday then killed everything on the planet, and then went after his creators. Long story short, he went from planet to planet destroying life, until he was defeated by an alien race that built something to fight him made of pure energy. But they could not kill doomsday, so they bound him to a rock and flung him into space. That rock crashed on earth, and you know the rest. That's what I remember, it's about all accurate, mostly, probably.

I forgot to mention is that Doomsday gained the ability to self-resurrect and evolve improvements, didn't need food or sleep, so any weaknesses would just be evolved away and he would grow in strength.

Doomsdays origin is that he's an ancient alien experiment, he was a creature borne of a very harsh world, Krypton long before Kal-Els ancestors occupied it. An alien scientist experimented on him, sent it out to die the most horrible deaths. Whenever it died the scientist collected it's remains, cloned it and sent it out to face the adversity again. Over and over it happened and everytime the creature grew more resilient until the day it could survive not only that world but just about everything that could be thrown at it. Eventually the monster destroyed it's creator and fell to earth when the Death of Superman story begins.

If you can stand to watch the CW Arrowverse shows, Killer Frost is portrayed in that universe. Initially as just her alter ego Dr Caitlin Snow and eventually after a few seasons she grows into her powers.

So in the comics that tie into the game, Joker tricks Superman into thinking Lois was Doomsday by poisoning him with a mixture of Scarecrows fear toxin and kryptonite, making him believe he was fighting Doomsday. The only way he knew how to beat Doomsday was to grab him and take him to space, but when Clark snapped out of his illusion he say that it was Lois he brought into the vacuum of space. And Joker got the nuke from a nuclear sub and surgically attached the trigger to Lois Lane’s heart so that way when she died, the nuke would go off. The Injustice comics get darker and even more heartbreaking after that.

2:06 this man has weird preferences for voice acting. He just compared the stiff and wooden voice acting from superman in MK vs DC to George Newman, the iconic voice of superman from Justice league/justice league unlimited and a hand full of DC animated projects.

Doomsdays origin is kinda tragic. Thousand years in the pasts of DC an alien scientist literally incapable of emotion wanted to make the ultimate creature capable of surviving anything. He when to the most dangerous would known prehistoric krypton. The scientist made his experimental creature and true it out into the wild let it be unalived scooped up the remains recloned it with all its memories and enhanced it then threw it back into the wild to see the results but it was still to weak didn’t survive so the scientists kept repeating the same thing throw back scoop up the remains reclone enhance throw it back. It happened hundreds and hundreds of time each time making it stronger more durable and adaptable but it also made him disdain more and more every that ended it eventually by the time he easily outmatched everything in krypton and the scientist deemed him a success it was to late the disdain had grown to a complete and utter hatred for any living things that came cross his path which got baked in every single fiber of his being from the process of being remade over and over and now he could just literally come back from anything that killed it stronger better and immune to the way it had been killed so you have to find a new way every time. Obviously he ended his creator don’t remember how he got out of krypton he ended up in Darksides world knocking out Darkside in a fight eventually got subdued bagged sent of the world and thats how he got to Metropolis for the Death of Superman comic where he was named Doomsday. He’s doesn’t have much thoughts or emotions just driven he’s driven by nothing more than a pure hatred for all life and the desire to end it with his hands. Solomon Grundy is a Batman villain he was a corrupt guy died but was revived as a zombie by the powers of the swamp his remains where thrown in to.

🦸🏻♂️I think doomsday in the comics is part Kryptonian or just full on Kryptonian but a genetic altered one from birth and sent to planet Earth as a disregard because he was a Savage if I remember🦸🏻♂️
