After we finished reacting to the cutscenes of Injustice: Gods Among Us, we went ahead and watched the cutscenes for Injustice 2, forgetting all about the character endings to the first game. So we went back to see each character's end being heroic, evil, or vitriolic.

Okay, Hot Take: I think Batman was denied a shift in Superman's ending because he is the most strict with his "no killing rule". And the rest of the league doesn't want him to be placed in a scenario where he would have to break it. It's more consideration than distrust.

Zatanna Zatara, commonly known as Zatanna, is the daughter of John Zatara. Also a comic book character, John Zatara was your garden variety illusionist as a day job under the name Zatara, akin to names like David Copperfield and Harry Houdini, but was also in secret a master of the occult and skilled in the use of real magic. He trained his daughter in all his abilities and upon his death his daughter took over his mantle as Zatanna. Their brand of magic sometimes requires them to speak spells backwards to work magic. Zatanna is a closer equivalent to Doctor Strange than Doctor Fate is abilities wise.

@@Gerald22222 When I said that I was talking about John Zatara not Zatanna. I was not implying anyone would assume Zatanna wasn't from the comics. Rather, I was referring to the fact that John Zatara is absolutely not as well known as his daughter nor can I assume without adding that line that anyone would know that John Zatara was a full character in Justice League comics BEFORE Zatanna took over his role. People might assume John Zatara was nothing more than a name in his daughter's backstory and not a fully fleshed out character in his own right.

Zatanna is one of my favourite characters. I really recommend reacting to the animated films Justice League Dark and Constantine City Of Demons to understand a bit better the magic side of the DC universe. Those two films I suggested are part of the continuity called the DCAMU (DC Animated Movie Universe) which I find pretty underwhelmingly average but those two films are the only ones I love and they also don't require you to watch all the previous films in that universe to understand them so I really recommend watching those two.

I also agree with the recommondation. But if they are also interested in seeing an animted series. Young Justice would be a good show that shows both familiar and new characters among the DC roster.

The DCAU (DC Animated Universe) is comprised of Batman The Animated Series, Batman Mask of the Phantasm, Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero, Superman The Animated Series, The New Batman Adventures, Batman Mystery of the Batwoman, Batman Beyond, Batman Beyond Return of the Joker, Static Shock, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.

21:23 - Yup. You're essentially akin to a god while wearing a White Lantern Ring. All of reality is yours to alter and change on a whim, its that powerful. Last i checked the White Lantern Corps were originally only 1 member - Kyle Rayner - who decided to create 7 white rings, each containing a portion of the White Lanterns true power, so that way no one person could fall victim to the temptation of such incredible power (as Kyle himself was tempted to on several occasions and even nearly destroyed reality itself before he reigned himself in).

11:00 that does exist. Flash (wally west) from the kingdom come storyline where superman exiles himself, the flash needs to pick up the slack so he remains in constant motion, which is where this was inspired from.

23:20 I think Batman would have a bit too much of a hair trigger on judging if Superman was too far gone. Either that, or his absolute rule about no killing means he _wouldn't_ pull the trigger even if fully warranted, so he shouldn't be in charge of the system.

In the comics, even after Batman's contingency plans had gotten stolen and used against the Justice League, Superman still trusted Batman to keep kryptonite to use against Superman in case he goes rogue. So to not give Batman a rotation shift for the trigger doesn't really make sense.

Lobo is a very powerful and immortal being so violent and chaotic he's literally banned by both heaven and hell which is what makes him immortal his healing factor is so absurdly nonsensicaly powerful it would put any deadpool healing jokes to shame oh and he killed is entire species single handedly just for fun if I remember correctly making him the last of his kind

They're all non-canon endings for every character's arcade mode. Here they're "What If" endings for the characters and if they took down superman instead.

The old Tim Burton movies would have been around long enough to have some influence on the game character design, even some of the Christopher Nolan movies too, but definitely not the Zack Snyder movies. That said, with the right facial, structure, anyone can look identical in a domino mask.

Jaby of all people wishing for Snyder's continued DC. He, like many, was the main reason Snyder isn't there anymore. For years they wanted him gone and replaced with MCU-like movies. Hey, congrats, they got their wish at the expense of fans that knew a good thing when we saw it. Hopefully, the new crowd propping DC up now can do a better job than what they put in for the MCU-like Flash and Blue Beetle. Gunn's depending on ya!
