She's just doing some general "flash moves" and ending in a slash, which is pretty simple to master, yet looks complicated. And not to nitpick too much here, but it would be 'lightning', as the term 'thunder' refers to the sound that lightning makes.

@@Epin-Ephrine I think I understand where you're coming from but it's spelled Lightning. Also, your whole comment is a nitpick. It was an awesome video, no need to say that it was unimpressive. If you can do better, then do it yourself.

@@cjpum1 You’re putting words in my mouth. I never said it wasn’t impressive, or that it wasn’t awesome. My comment constitutes as more of a reality check for this specific person than a nitpick saying the video wasn’t cool, awesome, impressive, etc., and to also tell him it’s possible for him to learn these moves as well, without years of practice like he may think you need to do what she is in her video. Furthermore, don’t mistake trying to teach someone the difference between two words, and trying to be mean or facetious. I had zero malintent with that comment, and reading back it still doesn’t strike me as being mean. In my point of view, this person is probably either young or not a native English speaker, in either case I just taught them the difference between lightning and thunder where they may have not known before, which is okay. I would thank you for spotting the grammatical error too, but your intent with that was clear.

@@Epin-Ephrine Totally agree, but I would take it a step further and say, No it's not that impressive, because it really is not. The spins aren't that hard (I can do them, and so can pretty much every prequel fan) however I won't deny that they *look* cool. What bothers me the most is her narcissism. She labels her own spinning "INSANE LIGHTSABER SKILLS". Also, the fact people don't really want to talk about, most of her fans are probably just simping.

Wow, those flourishes were so mesmerizing. It is very clear, that this took many many years of practice! I am trying to get the Obi-Ani mastered myself. But damn, your mastery with a lightsaber is unparalleled. I'd put you on par with Ray Park. Awesome video Carly!

Carly has a video on the 3 basic spins, obi-ani is one of them. That's how I learned!

What I did was I just learnt the basic "8" spins and just let it flow until I developed into other spins naturally, the Obi-Ani spin was one of them.

the double ended bo spins starting in the 7 to 8 min range of the video were mezmorising . like watching a kata in strobe lights. Great skills Padawan.

When you were using the red bladed Lightsaber with in the first minute and the lightning started to flash in the background. That is one hell of an awesome affect to go with your video. Nothing like a Sith in an electrical storm.

The reason she looks so good and so real compared to most people that do this is her perfect footwork and balanced positioning of her body . She moves like a martial artist or a boxer , she slides her feet perfectly and is on the ball of her feet

Gosh dang if you don’t get a role in a Star Wars film in the next 5 years I’m bout to start a riot! I’m curious to know how long you been doing lightsaber reviews and spin tests. I think you have all the experience needed to get a role as a Jedi or even a Sith. I been subscribed for a while but never realized how good you are, which is on me mostly, but wow! I think you have that it factor for a role though
