► In this drum lesson, J-Rod Sullivan (@jrodsullivan) is teaching us two insane fills. The first lesson is using paradiddle-diddles combined with the bass drum to create a blisteringly fast and powerful drum fill.
The second drum fill lesson is a big transition drum fill that helps your transition between high and low dynamic sections. The sticking is Rlrrll Rlrrll R L / RL R L R L R L.
Together these fills have a done of ideas you can steal and borrow to create your own powerful fills around the drumset.
Be sure to tag us on social media of you trying this so we can repost you!

For whatever reason, I actually found this a hell of a lot easier to understand. I think it was just quicker and he didnt take 5 hours to break down 3 notes. It was just right to the point. Amazing work man and thanks for the lesson! 🤟

Your playing is so next level. I can't keep up! Its amazing to see a professional as highly skilled as you breaking down the seemingly impossible to almost human levels of 'do-able'. All in, you seriously rock the drum kit.

Forgive me for basic question, but when you are doing those paradiddlediddle rolls on the snare at your top speed, are you still controlling the double with the Moeller technique or are you just bouncing it and pinching the fulcrum point? Thanks
