Shout out to Ian! That is so funny about all the car hoods, best AC in my opinion. Don't find many car hoods in AZ, but you can find snakes under the bales left by drug runners here. Cool vid Noah, lots of sweet finds, including those opossums. Love those lil misunderstood dudes.

Great work as usual. Always been very fond of the greenish rats and their variations from the coastal Carolinas. And this red bellied water snakes are absolute knockouts. My favorite nerodia along with the broadbanded water.

Amazing vid. Love reptiles and amphibians myself. I'm only 16 though so I don't have much freedom to herp. Went herping for the first time a few weekends ago. Found a speckled rattlesnake(I live in AZ) and a western banded gecko. Your videos are what inspired me to go herping in the first place.

I believe they're purposely left there as hides for reptiles, amphibians, and other small animals in return for encounters like these. Tho I agree, car hoods are kinda weird and I could be wrong.

Hi, i have been watching your channel since a year now. Its quite surprising to see so many snakes in US states, practically the woods are full of snakes....here in India, the snakes are not see this often and in venomous category we have only 4 - russel's viper, cobras, saw scaled viper and common krait...in your videos there is a lot more variety waiting to be explored...thanks for your videos..

great video,reminds me of my trips there back in the 70s I found plenty of kings where I used to go as well as copperheads and even EDBs, very few canebrakes in that area though, I'm old now and stick with visiting my local timber rattlesnake sites in South Central Pennsylvania now.

Me and my kids loved herping in Kansas at the airfield there was a little stream and snakes were in it theyed bring gloves and water boots then they would have some herping

I live in west central Florida and would love for you guys to come down teach me a few things about basically everything I need to know about snakes of my area because im truly a prisoner of my house because of the snakes in my yard. You lay the tins there then go back overtime just giving the snakes time to settle in

Lay some tin or plywood along the edge of a field or woods or hillside etc. At this time of year, then flip in the spring.

Very nice seeing the variation in the ratsnakes there. Some not so far from being black rats, other's more classic "chicken snakes." Thanks!
