Not gonna believe this but the only mallard I’ve ever killed was a hen but it was banded! Got a few pintails spoonie and green wing on the same hunt. The only time I have ever hunted flooded field. The only banded bird I’ve ever killed

So cool guys road trip goose hunt that is really fun, I never killed a spec we get a few where I hunt in PA> mostly canadas and snows where I hunt. but specks do come around rarely, but man great hunt I hear the are good eating. lol I wouldent know.

There is a guy in Northwest Tennessee who has a nice pit, i’m sure he’d be happy to let yall come down, it wont be free it might be a lot, but he is a great guy and his pit is right in front of a refuge, so they all just come to you

Damn what a dream Hunt I’m over in Oregon’s Willamette valley so we don’t get many specks or snows at all and those little geese looked like lessers not cacklers most of the cacklers we shoot are way smaller than that lmao mallards are bigger normally 😂

You guys need to call more on this hunt. Every time you called the. Would lock up and come too you. Then you would stop and the would flair. You should have realized this and called them all the way too you. You could have shot birds with their feet down. None the less awesome hunt and your a lucky shit. Speck bands are hard to come by. 2nd bird wtf. I’ve killed thousands over the 25 yrs of hunting and not one band
