Unfortunately many people do not follow that rule. I got married in November and made it clear to our guests multiple times leading up to the wedding and at the wedding (had a sign and our officiant made an announcement before we started) and unfortunately there were many guests I saw as I was walking down the aisle with their phones out. I was so upset.

Im starting to think this may be correlated to how important social media is to the bride & groom. people used to always share photos from friends’ weddings, sometimes while at the event still. The bride and groom (we did the same) would check all the tagged posts the day after and cherish the beautiful memories our FRIENDS caught through their lenses. Before social media, professional photographers & videographers were the only source for getting your wedding on film, but that hasn’t been the case for a WHILE now. Anyway, these two are just angry because they cannot monetize as much off their wedding when other influencers also share it. thats it, thats what the deal is. Money.
