Just discovered your channel and absolutely loving it! Born and raised in Australia (NSW) and grew up saltwater fishing piers, deep sea, break walls, rivers, estuaries and other shore locations. New to Florida (Central) and just starting getting back into fishing here. Learned a ton in the few vids I have watched so far. Where are viewers posting their questions for these videos? I have a couple questions I'd love to shoot your way.

In the third video you briefly discussed leader and knots and casting and effects on eyes and line. I would love to see another short video on this issue. With the on set of micro wave eyes it has become a real concern.

Here's a video that covers it in more detail: www.saltstrong.com/articles/casting-mistake-fishing-tip/ Yes, the micro-guides will surely compound the issue given that the knots will have a higher chance of hitting each one during the cast.

I've been informed that the puffers are great to eat. They have two strips, like tender loin. Just have to know how to clean.

Im totally new at saltwater fishing(or fishing in general). I started about 3 weeks ago and so far all I’ve caught is a baby shark. I want to buy a new fishing rod...pole...? But I don’t know where to start...any help would be gladly accepted haha. Also I found your channel a couple days ago and I’ve learned a bit watching you guys. Thanks!!!

If you're new to saltwater fishing, I highly recommend trying out our Inshore Slammer course because it'll show you the top deals on rods and reels along with the short list of lures that'll get you good results. But most importantly, it teaches how to find the areas that will have the most feeding fish throughout the seasons so that you can make sure you spend your valuable time in the feeding zones. treble hook or should I change to a single hook on my hard plastics?
@Saltstrong

If you'll be catch and release fishing, then single hooks are a clear choice. Even if meat fishing, the single hooks are very effective too.

Very cliche answer on topwater, what I would expect from beginners🤷‍♂️ I throw topwater about 2/3 of the time and have a huge catalog of big fish pics. Sunny day, no clouds, flat surface can be the best time to throw topwater because (in my mind) fish can hear it from far away. Any evidence of bait is a great reason to throw a spook, regardless of conditions. Same with docks and riprap. ALWAYS try walking a spook through there, regardless of conditions. If you don't have a heddon spook jr and full size spook with upgraded split rings and vmc trebles, you're doing yourself a huge disservice.
