As an artist, the first thing I look for in someone’s space, is colorful wall art. Your furniture is the art, and your home is perfectly decorated and upgraded.

🥹 you noticed!! THIS is exactly what I wanted to pull off in our home - allowing my husband’s homeware and chosen furnishing to be the “art” - from the curves of the chairs, the deliberate textures and tones of the textiles and eggshell paints, the wood grains, terrazzo, and travertine, it’s the details that become conversation starters, like artwork would be 🤎🛖

This is beautiful and serene without doing that boring colorless look. I really want to see more interiors that do a modern take on African designs. Traditional is great but it's also cool to see what younger generations do when they incorporate their heritage and other elements that influence them.

Wow. It's a beautiful space that you've created but my favorite has to be that acoustic wall panel. That is what makes the major change in your living space. It's beautiful, it covers a big area and it's not busy because it's natural. Lovely just lovely. Your table is really nice and your colors are peaceful. Love your flowers and plant that bring life and oxygen to a N.Y. apartment/brownstone. Maybe one or two more by the windowsill would be nice. Love the orange color. Some people in Brooklyn painted their walls pumpkin which was really nice and calming. So that would have been a nice color on one of your walls. But overall it's just lovely.

And yes, I'm thinking of adding some more color/texture to our bedroom overtime, maybe a limewash with earth tones 🤎
